could be imobilser issue have you tried another key it can happen where the chip loses its code

do you now if your getting petrol up to the injectors as sounds more like fuel issue blown fuse or relay could even be electric pick up pump in tank what you need to do first see if your getting petrol up to the injectors . and let us know

hello gary i do know on some of the early hybrids the diagnostics for the hybrid is done throught the original radio so you may have upset somthing so later on you might need that radio so dont throw it away .

If your unsure attach a photo of your headlamp and I will tell you face lift model have halogen headlamps early one like yours don’t and wire harness will be different
