  1. Fairly typical, just had a mate ask me if there was anything around at a good price! Well done for the sale.
  2. Thanks for that Chris, I’ll have a full play later if I can. Noticed that dvds play all the time so perhaps this is the wee button allowing that!
  3. Lpgmap.co.uk seems to be quite a good tool. I know some areas are much better than others for availability. I guess it’s how the government view the need for lpg going forward is the big question..
  4. I did try that at the weekend with the wife, which I found funnier than her, not sure why…
  5. Randomly the dvd plays when driving, which isn’t ideal for someone as easily distracted as me😆. We’ve tried pushing it on and off to see if anything changes, as yet no joy…..
  6. I really hope it’s the radio option! Rear fog is on another switch, I’ll have a bash with the radio later on!
  7. If not clear, it’s under the main central panel.
  8. Can anyone tell me what this little push switch is for please?
  9. Thinking of going for 15m on 2.5. Which means I’ll panic and get 25m…..
  10. Lots of positive chat going on here, it’s good to talk!
  11. Top post Rojie, perhaps my absolute lack of technical knowledge is my driving force to look at other avenues! I really believe that with a wee bit of planning and willingness, great things can happen. I did not join this group to become a mad activist with desire to change things, I may have had ideas before joining on how we would operate as a club which were based on past experiences. Hopefully we can all grow on here and all get what we want whether that be technical assistance (which I need massively) or social interaction which we can all limit to what feels right. Thank you for clearing up any misunderstandings I may have had.
  12. Seems that’s a fairly common thing folk are doing, splitting and taking what they need to sites as most can provide distances to hook up points before you get there. When we had the dub, never really bothered with hook ups, so all a bit new to us..
  13. Hmm, I do occasionally get Brahms and Liszt in campsites……
  14. Massively useful info, so sounds like 10m would be fine for most campsites, and that feels quite a distance from a hook up point. I think most run at 16 amps but some saying that some of the 1.5 cables will only take 15 amps which can cause problems. A couple of the motorhome sites saying some campsites won’t let you use 1.5, but I really can’t imagine girth inspectors wandering around………
  15. Stopped as in stopped blowing or stopped being warm?
  16. What’s everyone’s idea around hook up cables? 1.5 or 2.5 cable? Not having used hookups before, is a 10m cable adequate for most uk campsites or are we looking more towards 25m? I Understand the voltage drop issues, but I’m thinking if there won’t be much load on the cable a 1.5 should be fine? All thoughts gratefully received..
  17. Would that not be ‘Japanese whispers’……..I’ll get my coat…..
  18. Just noticed the slightly bizarre auto correct of*Elgar and* clearly Elgrand 😂
  19. Yep, just front wheel, not had the need to try the 4WD yet, but I’m sure it will happen as it generally rains every time I go in a field!
  20. 2010 3.5 vellfire mostly motorway around 28 mpg we had our first real drive yesterday, about 200 or so miles on about half a tank, a little bit of villages involved. This is by no means scientifically deduced, didn’t really plan to work it out. We’ll give it a proper look after conversion which is next month! That was using cruise on the motorways at 62mph..
  21. We were looking at elgrands before accidentally buying the Vellfire and had joined the Elgar and forum. Got to say they were massively friendly and helpful, lots of activity with a real willingness to help idiots like me!
  22. Starting to feel quite positive with some comments on here. Really think there’s scope to do a little more…
