  1. I guess this could come under accessories. Although we are now having an awning rail fitted, we did buy a magnetic driveaway strip which we had a play with and it does work. It wouldn’t hole on it’s own but pegged down it gave a really good seal and very much looked like it would do the job.
  2. Genuinely finding all of this massively interesting, thanks all!
  3. I have So, this is what I’m using, seems to be very accurate and topped up with solar, charge it every 3 weeks or so.. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/194986486281
  4. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174427583514 should’ve put this on post, sorry!
  5. US plugs should be fine, this one is and works perfectly! Also ships from UK so took 2 days from ordering on eBay
  6. I’ll kick off with the £3.59 USB plug for the 100v sockets
  7. Why thank you! We just want to get the conversation done now, picking up completed on Saturday 23 July, can’t come soon enough!
  8. We are planning to run a season on petrol and look at the impact on finances! I know we will get less mpg on LPG, but offset by cost, which although rising, is no where near the painful prices of super unleaded. I’ve seen some folk stating around 500 miles with 2 full tanks, which is quite impressive if true. All info most welcome to help us make the decision! We are quite lucky with a decent amount of local LPG garages, I know some are not as fortunate.
  9. Thought I’d lost the van, found it longingly looking at the Isle of Wight, she must’ve overheard that’s where she’s heading on the 4th July for conversion. Just glad she never heard me mention ferries……
  10. I think my coloured hairspray for my face hair might fit in here………
  11. Can we all get behind this folks, and for those thinking there is a revolution going on, there really is not! If we can evolve then only good can come of it….
  12. Agree with the above, just checked the manual for you, it is indeed listed as front wiper de-icer..number 9
  13. Lol, that was my first port of call, just to make sure I wasn’t going mad. Seems common to carry distress flares, it did run out in October last year though!
  14. Well, there we go, I had no idea I had onboard flares, now I feel like I’m fully equipped to deal with missile attack from jet fighters…
  15. So I think we can close this now. Much more response on the thread started today by @ Alphard Club so I will respectfully withdraw from the discussion. Thanks to those who supported the idea initially and here’s hoping the club can evolve into something a little bit more that a forum. Good luck to all !
  16. So I can now confirm, whatever it’s for, it has nothing to do with the head unit 😂
  17. Well this certainly gained more traction than my post last weekend! Well done folks…
  18. Will let you all know in a couple of days, must admit though, when I thought it might be a way to use the head unit without having to have the ignition on it made me warm inside, that’s going to be the next task!
  19. Will confirm at the weekend, sounds the most plausible so far!
  20. To be honest, I’ve never had the need to put the footbrake on yet! But dvds happily play when driving on both front and rear screens, will have a play at the weekend…
  21. I guess that’s back to the 1.5 or 2.5 cable. The 1.5 will be lighter and even Kampa sell the cables as 1.5 so got to be accepted right? Then some saying that some sites will only accept 2.5. It’s all wonderful stuff 😂
