  1. I managed to find pic of one oem remote, seems bit different from above
  2. Looks like my screenshot is from same site. It is pretty clear and convinced me to stick to oem.
  3. Looks like the ET number is pretty significant I'll have to stick to oem https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/et-45-et35-difference.38514
  4. Thankyou Arthurj that's what I thought that it might work. Looking at https://papasmith.co.uk/alloy-wheel-fitment-guide/ looks like even other Estima Rav 4 C-HR wheels might fit too? Look at the pictures. Everything is same except the rim numbers. It might be stupid to try if they are interchangeable but I'll to find all facts and then make decision. I want original 16 or 17 inch Alphard or Vellfire alloy but they're rare like unicorn
  5. Can anyone please share pictures of your audio system remote control? Thanks! I've got Toyota premium sound system and TV for middle row. But no remote control. I'm annoyed that the car came this ripped off.
  6. I wonder if anyone using 16 inch alloys on 2nd Gen Alphard or Vellfire? Factory suggested size is 17 inch as pic below. Will 16 inch alloy be safe?
  7. Many thanks Chris is good to know. I can get blank 5 key fob for 70 and cut programmed for 60. Hard to beat with getting software finding willing key cutter and spending time figuring it.i would enjoy learning it but don't want to mess up
  8. Hi I've Vellfire (2009-..)that came with fancy 19 inch alloys. I like to have the factory 17 inch (215/60R17 96H is written on the car). I'm guessing, even 16 inch alloys can be fitted on the 2nd Gen Alphards and Vellfires. I like the ride to be soft and comfortable. Any pointers will be appreciated..breakers, websites, pvt sellers etc Is black colour van, so thinking silver or black alloys can also work
  9. Thanks anyway Rojie 👍 I hope it is not a dead end task! I can buy used car key online with virgin blade. Need to do some reading, there must be at least few posts on the topic. I wonder if Toyota UK can help with it.
  10. Indeed. Someone (seller / auction / yard?) ripped all paperwork from car, left only one car key, no lug nut key for special 19 inch alloys, even the remote control for TV is not there. My guess is it was the 2nd owner who didn't look after it. First owner driven minimal Miles in first 9-10 years. 2nd owner took it just over 100K kms. Engine bay is immaculate but air filter dusty? Lol Need to sort 2nd key, called few Timsons and ask saying they won't do it as it can mess up ignition??
  11. It's possible during the last 2-3 years the maintenance schedule might have slipped due to pandemic
  12. Thanks Rojie for the detailed reply. I'll probably have I look deeper and understand the intricacies, including the ones you have pointed.
  13. That's right, diy, getting started on making changes. I've another thread, it has fancy 19 inch alloys, I'm not fan of low profile. Might even sell them online later. I'm wondering if Toyota C-HR alloys will fit Vellfires considering it is same size, my guess is they should be interchangeable. I'm sure some members would have done something like this but responses often seen limited
  14. My Vellfire has arrived with air filter looking like this...completely dusty and clogged. It's hard to believe this is level of Japanese car maintenance. It is not cheap purchase and top spec Vellfire. I think one has to have lower expectations guys. Sharing my experience
  15. I also was told it is substantial saving but then someone said recently is about 20 quid off. I'm curious to find the facts
  16. Alloy I'm looking to buy for Vellfire are like these.....anyone seen these used for Alphard Vellfire? It's common shape
  17. Hi there On my Vellfire it says wheel size as in the attached picture 215/60R17. I can get used alloy wheel with same five lug nut from Toyota C-HR UK model. Is it likely to fit? Is there anything I need to check? Wheels are in different city so difficult to judge just by looking at the pictures. Many thanks for any help
  18. Has anyone got 17 inch alloy wheels to sell? Its for second gen black Vellfire. I'm thinking black wheels on black car might blend better? Any tips where to look for buying? New vs used
  19. Check the fuel consumption mega thread
  20. Heat can be a killer don't give up
  21. Indeed looked very interesting. I can't understand how the roof rail got fitted on it as I don't think you get them factory fitted
  22. Also this car had roof rail, not sure if I've seen it before..
  23. Hi Guys, I saw this 2008 Alphard V6 in car park, pic attached. Wonder if anyone knows what this front cover is? Looks like some sort of net / mesh. Personally I think I've never seen anything like this
  24. Make thanks @Chris.ac and @bimo2700mf that's very useful information and great time saver
