Hi, picasso does the fuel sensor fit in bank 1, which i thibk is at front of engine,where the oxegen senser is fitted.I no there is a senser under tbe van off the exaust.exuse my ignorense and mt spelling.

Hi, everyone me again.My Alphy is running buitifully.Ihad new spark plugs new coils,new oxegen censer at front of engine.also put bottle of cat cleaner in fuel tank.Ran up to norfolk after 60 mls light came on.stopped engine restarted and light was out.Completed journey pluged in my jap computer and it read P0171 Fuel trim to lean bank 1. that is the new sencer i replaced By the way all parts were from Toyota cost a fortune.That said all this it is running lovely.Hope to be going up to norfolk tomorrow.will keep posted.Any suggestions please to get this light out.my van 2.4 Alphard G.Reg 2005,LK05 VEP.P.S when i start from cold engine light goes out as normal,seems to take approx60 mls to come on.Thanks in advance for any help.Kind regards to all.Phil.

Hi,everyone. i have 2005,alphy 2400 cc,reg, LK05 VEP.i have a rear fitted kitchen so have the 2 front seats and middle seats .to make the bed i need to fold flat the 2 middle seats .To do this i have to move the seats as far forward as poss so when i fold down the back rest the front of the middle seats are actually touching back of driver seat and pass seat.The problem is the 2 middle seats are split into indevidual seats 1 double seat and 1 single seat.Ican push forward the single to full extent but the double seat stops short a few inches so will not lay flat sounds like it is hitting metal when it stops at max.please help thank you in advance.Phil.

Hi, lee,hope i got your name right.me again hope you dont mind.Mistery,as you now ,have had new bank sensor 1,renewed,spark plugs and coils.Added catalic cleaner.I drove from Essex to suffolk and back wednsday.Could not drive better.lodes of poke.up hill lovely.very very smooth ride.loads of acceleration.Very responsive.just as i reached home engine warning light came on.Still driving A.1.put on computer.said bank one weak mixture.I whent out just now to read computer.and it said no falt codes .i did put some e,10 and e,5 petral.could it be just stabelising with theengine .should i just ignore appr any advice.thanks .

Hi ,thank you so much for all your imfo,wich was bang on.I cannot beleive how well my Alphy is driving.I added catalist and sensor cleaner,as you advised.So much more poke in the acceleration.No more engine warning light.I went full hog,and had new spark plugs new coils,new fuel sensor.Fantastic.Many thanks for all your help.Going to run up to Norfolk tommorow.Kind regards Phil.

Hi,Geralt was showing.02 sensor not operating .I actualy put the 02 sensor in the wrong bank.Silly me.Our member Picasso,said exactly that.100% right.

Yes i did.best £50 i ever spent.tha k you for advice.In fact would like to thank everyone for being so helpfull.I would advise every club member to by one without any hesitation.And Picasso was absolutely correct wben he said iput the 02,sensor were i should have put the fuel sensor.Thanks to everyone for there help.Phil.

Hi,me with engine light again.Alphard 2005.2.4 car runs super.apart from 1 thing.Approx every 400 miles engine light comes on.then looses power.turn off ignition turn back on runs perfect again.Had MOT,yesterday and replaced new spark plugs and coils.i thougbt while at it i would have a new o2,censor fitted which by way it was £170.00.When i drove to MOT centre it drove,super.when new 02 censor was fitted and i drove home engine warning light was on and dove like a pig.just about got home.spent all together £520.right back to were i started Any help or suggestions,app.thank you in advance.Phil.

Hi,all orange light comes on every 500 miles or so,as it does looses power especially up hill .Switch off egnition then drives buitifully again when started.Am having neww plugs etc,fitted thought i may as well change the 2 sensors at same time.as this seems to be the common reason of loss of power.Advice please were to buy sensors an d sbould i buy genuine toyota parts are they dear there are many on amazon.just dont no what ones to bug
