What head unit do you have ? The Sonars are operated through the panel below the head unit. They are set up through the head unit. How is your Japanese ! The nacelle is the LCD panel, and surroundings, below the removeable head unit. It isn't a translation issue. There are 'separate' sensor systems with different settings and different purposes.

Hello Phil, Depends on which wheels you have fitted. Are they original OEM ? I have a different model than you. When I bought some I needed to be aware that the NUTS, not bolts, need a flat washer; not a conical one. I purchased mine from McGuard. There were fiddly to fit, but once you understand the quirk the flat washer provides they can be fitted quite quickly. I'll check what I bought and advise.

Hello Karl, Welcome to the Forum. I have a Gen 2 facelift, i.e not hhe same as yours, and had to get an Auto Locksmith to program my spare keys. Techstream may do it. Most people report that the diy method does not normally work.

Hi John, Most Alphies have two different types of rear sensors. Toyota call them Clearance Sonar and Back Sonar. Nether are connected to the camera system. I recommend you purchase the JPNZ Owners Manual which explains how to set up the Sonar sensitivities. The cameras and Sonar should all operate as they are not interlinked. The Lane Monitoring System is also totally separate and is a somewhat rare option. If you have it you will have mysterious black sensors on the bottom of your wing mirrors. I have never used mine ! Can you post a photo of the button? The Sonar controls are part of the head unit nacelle (not the head unit itself) lower lhs. Check they are not is not turned off, as they can be quite annoying when turned on. By the time the Japanese Lady admonishes you, you are already TOO CLOSE !

Hi Louise, No, not directly; but I bought my Alphie from an affiliated JDM specialist dealer (on the same site). The dealer has them do all his mechanical work. They did the rear links on mine. I don't know for sure that they would undertake the work; but you could enquire.

Hi Chris, While travelling in Spain we used the Spanish air conditioning system. Are you hoping to run the air conditioner whilst not in the vehicle, to pre cool the vehicle ? Or are you hoping to run an ac at night whilst you are in the vehicle ? Short of an EHU, you need a generator.

137cm is hopeful ! I'll measure mine later and update you. Overall vehicle height is only 193cm.

Hello Duane, Welcome to the distant Forum. Checking my manual I cannot find a light as you describe. There is a symbol with a car, and what appears to be two exclamation marks which is for lane assist. Door open shows a car, but no exclamation. Can you post a photo ?

Hello Simon, Welcome to the Forum. I have never seen an Alphie converted into an office. Based on my experience with my rear conversion it is, imho, entirely possible to create a fantastic office for one, two at a push. I have two bench seats and a small table, which would suffice as an office. For a more capacious office permanent, or semi-permanent, middle or rear seat removal is a real option. Some of the older vehicles have middle seating that can be rotated. Do you need to be able to stand ? You need to consider how to power any office 'equipment' though. You have set my mind buzzing

While walking my dog yesterday I inspected the barrier more closely, and checked the height of the local beach car park entrance. In large lettering it was written 2 Meters, and in much smaller lettering 1.98m ! That would leave you only 1 cm ! Too close for me. Then, you notice all the damage to the barrier, and wonder how accurate the dimension remains. I recall the first time I took my Alphie through and peering very nervously through the moon roof.
