  1. Yeah, just front bumper and rear lights, with some trim inside. Its a really basic model, things like AFS on the headlights, auto rain sensing wipers, auto folding mirrors are missing, and it has the basic 8 speaker setup with an aftermarket headunit. It looks nice and shiny, but i think for the price you are missing out on some tech that should really be standard. Maybe I'm just a snob, but i would totally miss some of the features.
  2. Prime selection 2 is just marketing gibberish for some coloured trim, upholstery or tinted headlights. The 240s part is what counts, so it's a standard model. Models for the 240 are 240x basic model 240s standard 240g high spec I would say at this point (2025) this couldn't really be more than £10k, unless it's been really well looked after and had something to make it stand out from the others, at this point adding a few k and buying a 30 series is realistic. Consider i bought a 350G for £12k in 2021
  3. I don't know for sure, it's possible there is more than one type of wiring loom. Its only 2 bolts to remove in order to check
  4. Yes, unfortunately. Although the resolution does tend to much better in the kits, you have to consider the factory ones were specified in 2008, and cameras are now HD or better. In the 2014 models, they did actually have a full 360 degree, with a camera on the driver's side, i had thought to buy one of those wingmirrors, and fit upgraded cameras into the existing spaces, utilising the wiring already in the oem looms, the other option would be buying a new ipa ecu in order to use the official Toyota 360 solution. You can use the original cameras with modern headunits, you can buy adaptors on AliExpress. Going oem vs aftermarket comes down to cost and patience!
  5. There are two wires. A parking brake, and a speed sense wire. Please add a photo of the back of the unit and I'll post the correct wires
  6. At this point, it would be cheaper to buy an aftermarket 360 camera set and controller, and connect it to the new headunit. If you do want to use original, the wiring should still exist behind headunit. I can attach the wiring schematic
  7. Do you have electric middle row seats? If not, you'll have a free 12v connector near the bottom of the b pillars, you'll be to remove the trim, but you could essentially hide the router behind the trim or beside the drivers seat
  8. There is no 'reset' in the official Toyota process. At most, you'd connect via the obd in order to do a transmission fluid temperature check.
  9. The dome fuse is the correct one. There is no relay. What you will have is several other fuses working in conjunction with the ECU, and the ECU in some cases provides the ground logic. I've attached the illumination wiring schematic. IL.pdf
  10. From Japanese auction sites, expect to pay around £50 for a cd ROM, or slightly more for printed one. It will be in Japanese only. Alternatively, you can use an online translated one. I'll pm you a link
  11. No problem. As for parts, if you use a site like amayama, you can type your chassis number in, and get Toyota part numbers. You can either then order from the site, or use those part numbers in most car part centres, for the main servicable parts. For example, today i walked into my local parts site and bought front and rear brake pads, air, cabin and oil filters, off the shelf. You can give the numbers to a Toyota parts centre, too, and they will order them in for you.
  12. Its the same tech you can get in Phillips hairdryers. It is part of the climate control, and controls the ioniser. Helps to remove pollutants/pollen.
  13. It's on the right side of the map light area behind a little slotted grill. It works quite well for me, maybe you need to increase the mic volume on headunit
  14. You can set the behaviour of auto locking and unlocking doors based on shift selector on P or D, via a simple combination of holding the lock or unlock control whist depriving ignition on, in the relevant gear. It's in the user manual
  15. I'm no help here, fortunately i have only ever needed a wheel bearing on an older Toyota to be replaced. I need to find an AC specialist, I've started to get the green flashing light of ac doom.
  16. You can download a preconfigured virtual machine for use on windows. You can find clear instructions on the Toyota ih8mud forum https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/how-to-techstream-in-5-minutes.1034923/.
  17. Are you able to access the files? They are on Google drive, but your btinternet email cannot be added as a trusted address. Hopefully the direct link works
  18. Could be aftermarket alarm or wireless door entry. What keyfobs do you have?
  19. What? Would be a keyhole drivers side Post photo of drivers handle, previous owner may have fitted a blanking plate that is removable
  20. Left column is front, right column is rear.
  21. Well done. The rear fog cheapo switch triggers me everyone i see one, so glad you prioritised that 😂
  22. I found this DA-G2.Standard MOST25 - mObridge UK https://share.google/HhuTvhUiKk9jZjEH6 I can't recall if the alphard uses most25 or most50. Perhaps this company can advise?
  23. Diy route, you can buy (about £ 160) from AliExpress or alibaba, a generic Toyota compatible box. The one i bought a few years ago used the phono input/aux input and i used the kit to splice into the touch screen on the headunit (there is a small switch that flips between the box input and the original headunit input, for navigating around the screen. I've not found the same supplier, but there are a few around.
