Wanted Roof bars and fittings for a 2010 Vellfire
Chris.ac replied to tino7770's topic in Alphard Buy & Sell
Create a amazon.co.jp account, ( you can set it to English and £, then look for carmate inno roofrack parts for alphard h20 or terzo parts You can buy regular square adaptors or aero design. You can save money on shipping by only buying the foot pack and brackets, and buying the actual bars from the uk, Thule are compatible. -
Headunit frequency range is locked. I imagine the actual antenna there can be replaced with euro spec versions, although it seems very often JDM and Euro parts have different standards of connector.

Rear fog light location
Chris.ac replied to Voodoo101's topic in Toyota Alphard & Vellfire Club Forum (2008 - 2015)
I've seen on a few Russian Toyota, and on the Japanese yahoo groups. It was something i had thought of installing, for full oem, but the cost of the components and shipping were greater than the valanti retroreflectors. -
Rear Foglights - better integration
Chris.ac replied to Chris.ac's topic in Toyota Alphard Club Forum (2002 - 2008)
Use the wiring diagrams from the thread i linked. You could also go to the Japanese site i linked that has the full manual. You should be able to recover the oem wiring and tap into the correct switched positive Unfortunately, i don't have access to a 10 series to actually confirm the wiring for you. I would suggest the enhanced light stalk would not be compatible, unless you ran new wiring, and changed or modified the clock spring too. -

Rear Foglights - better integration
Chris.ac replied to Chris.ac's topic in Toyota Alphard Club Forum (2002 - 2008)
10 series is different. The winter pack edition foglight is actually on the boot door. The drivers side light assembly should have an additional connection that utilise a dual filament bulb. I posted about it on my long multipage post a few years back. It's possible to intercept that wire in the rear loom. The 10 series did not have a rear fog position lighting stalk, it has a switch on the panel to right of steering wheel. -
2009 3.5 V6 AWD...

Look at the knowledge base section of the following group vaug.club You can download a manual, and a file called SDS (service data sheet) that is a simple document losing the oil, sparkplug, coolant, wheel alignment data -
What head unit do you have? You can adjust the distance they start screaming at you. My Alphard has 4 rear sensors, not just the corners. You can calibrate the camera from the headunit. With engine running, and lights off, hold the top right physical button on the headunit, and flick lights on and off 3 times to enter service menu. Use a translator app like Google translate, you can navigate to the camera settings.

There are basically 3 designs across the 10/20/30 series. That shape is a Type 2.

Rear Foglights - better integration
Chris.ac replied to Chris.ac's topic in Toyota Alphard Club Forum (2002 - 2008)
Excellent work, simbad. A little daunting to remove the steering wheel at first, but it is so much nicer to have the original Toyota control and telltale indicator on the dash. You also get the added benefit that the rear fog will always return to off position if you turn off ignition. -

If you have an etc unit in the small coin box to the right of steering wheel, you can grab an illumination and a switched live connection from the socket, it's not useful as an etc unit in the uk. -

2010 Alphard V6 4WD
Chris.ac replied to Blinchy's topic in Toyota Alphard & Vellfire Club Forum (2008 - 2015)
Hi and welcome. Just some observations. You say you have a v6 4wd? That would be ggh25, not ah20. Ah20 is a 2.4lt. The throttle should be smooth with no lag, i could easily wheel spin my v6 when pulling off from a junction, until i learned to be more gentle. The new dash clock is obviously the wrong one. There are minor differences. TRC off is traction control off, operated by the button that looks like a skidding car. 8 have square plate at front, the bumper is cutout for that design. Random switch may be the rear fog lights fitted to comply with uk rules, it's possible to replace with the correct Toyota switch or a new indicator stalk that has both front and rear foglights positions. -
Instrument/dash Lights

The 4x4 symbol is present on all, regardless of if the vehicle has it. If you do have 4x4, There will be a button on the dashboard to the left of the steering wheel -

Relay needs installing in the factory socket, passenger side footwell. Fuse is usually fitted, drivers side footwell. You can use the existing socket located on the sonar sensor loom on the driver's side ( photos of all this is available on previous posts) You can add two pins to the existing socket ( the side that attachs to the fog lamp, both the male and female sides were present on 3 alphards i have done, so just add two pins from summer other cheap connector from eBay) I agree, the oem rear fog looks naff, but I'm sure it's actually the entire quarter panel that attaches to the rest bumper, so it's cost will be greater than valenti. Edit. I was wrong about the quarter panel it seems, maybe I'm mixing it up with 10 series winter kit fog
