  1. totally with you on the fast buck wise boys.
  2. Welcome to the club There is a guide here, may seem extensive but will help you choose the right vehicle.
  3. I would go and look at one from a dealer. Have a test drive then look about. There is a guide here, you may know some of this but be sure you have a read and arm yourself with some ideas on what to look for:
  4. You can search the site via google for words with 3 letters https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=site%3A+https%3A%2F%2Fuk.alphardcub.com+key+site%3Auk.alphardclub.com&biw=1734&bih=797&sxsrf=ALiCzsYoztp1J5nECvA3p2AKPDVfzb9jrA%3A1657709703584&ei=h6TOYtOSI4-O8gLBg6uIAQ&ved=0ahUKEwiT8pbw2fX4AhUPh1wKHcHBChEQ4dUDCA8&uact=5&oq=site%3A+https%3A%2F%2Fuk.alphardcub.com+key+site%3Auk.alphardclub.com&gs_lcp=Cgdnd3Mtd2l6EANKBAhBGAFKBAhGGABQ2A1Y2A1gtBdoAXAAeACAASyIASySAQExmAEAoAEBwAEB&sclient=gws-wiz
  5. This is great Rob. We are at 65 at the moment. We will start doing a big push in august and a harder push throughout september as people will then have an idea if they are available on that date. Looking good so far
  6. 3 letter searches wont work, 4 letters or more work better
  7. This club has nothing to do with the group. Only group we run is the "Toyota Alphard Buy & Sell" , apart from that we keep well away from FB.
  8. I see this all the time when i make mats for these. I get customers saying they have a 7 seater when they really have an 8. The last row is a 3 seater. Not a 2 seater. I see so many people thinking this and even tell their insurance co. Any reason for an insurance co. to back out of a claim. If you have 3 seats in the middle then its an 8 seater. Please make sure you are properly insured for the correct amount of seats
  9. Welcome to the club Geoff!
  10. Can also do full sets or part sets https://odysseycarpets.co.uk/products/Toyota-c119482028
  11. I make these In Anthracite (brown in piccy but no longer do them this colour at the moment)
  12. They must of gotten a lot of emails over the years and closed it down. Toyota have a legal duty to comply with these so I would try the compliance team of Toyota UK. Once you get to compliance, just pester them until they find a resolve. Toyota GB will do the job as long as Japan pay for it
  13. I have found this tricky myself, but in the end if i play the cd then I can usually find it in the albums list. I hav not messed too much with it as I am mainly a Bluetooth and spoitfy person as i got rid of all my CD's and DVD's (apart from the kids dvds)
  14. Only which way from the M40 are they coming from.
  15. I am keeping a running list of parts i am buying and adding them here above. Takes ages to reference some of these bits so i hope it helps
  16. Sorry Rob, i think we have wires crossed. We are not in any disagreements with the other group, in fact i am friends with the owner and i also partake in the group. But to go to their meet and start handing out leaflets is something I feel we cannot do. I am all for building up our own event and not springboard from someone else's group. I hope it makes sense from my point. However, that doesn't stop people talking about it. Cheers mate
  17. I have added it to the list. I only made this list last week and missed it off. I will update you to that one for you. You dont need to do anything\\cheers
  18. I did not have such a great experience afterwards. Yes nice guy but stuff i can see was patched up. Bodged detailing, after a few washes you can see where they had tried to machine polished and messed up the paintwork (Car is black) A real mess. Going to cost me £300 to have a 2-stage detail to get it back to normal paint. On the day i went to see the car, it had silicon product on it to hide these swirl marks. Missing spare wheel, that was £80 to get a used one Compromised suspension part, somehow did not fail the MOT or even an Advisory so had to find a new one and replace it. Beats me how that got through the MOT Supposed oil change but the oil was almost black after 2k, with these engines they are supposed to stay golden with the right oil. I think they used Mazola for oil . So i had to have a service on the car to ensure right oil was used. Now have piece of mind. only 1 key, promised to find another but never heard anything else ...so another £80 plus programming costs Only thing i can suggest it get a proper oil change done with filter. With a premium oil and filter. I would say this for any dealership purchase, its ok to get the old oil out and add cheap oil but if you want to stick 10k on the car then make sure you do it with premium oil. This could of been with any dealer though. So best do the proper checks.
  19. i still had heat, so left it, but unless i had it right down or all the way up it would make a juddering noise. I stuck my head underneath centre consol and looked up to the heat controller to see it moving, so maybe you can try and see if you can see it moving if you adjust the temperature. But you see the rear ones may have their own... not sure, if the rear gets warm them it could be the front actuator.
  20. a lot of part numbers in the Guides Area here
  21. Oil will run a similar temprature, because its 40 deg outside doesn't really make the oil any hotter. The the right grade then also most importantly specification. For my 3.5 I have 5w30 with A5 specification. Its not just all about Grade.
  22. Come to think of it, my actuator used to make noises on my ANH10 Alphard. So this could be the option too. But i do wonder if the rear heating is run from the same actuator??
  23. yes it can be an option but we need someone to take lead of this part of the event, especially someone who will be staying there as well. Once we have all these options we can start announcing them
  24. The castle Coombe meet is not owned by us, thats a facebook group.
  25. I recently bought a 3.5 but with a really good interior. They did the usual buffing of the paintwork which i am now going to get a 2 stage detail as they did a crap job, however i will get it showroom condition once i get a small pin dent sorted. I could also smell my carpets had been washed, however, I am not bothered about these as I make Alphard mats so will be stripping these out and installing tailored Axminster very soon.
