  1. Transmission Fluid Change for the 3.5 V6 (Not 2.4) ANH20 Alphard / Vellfire uses ATF WS and has been quite hard to get hold of. I have seen a Toyota Dealer selling it for £25 a litre on amazon, yes you read that right. As its hard to get hold of they are making the most out of it. I have just bought 7 litres for my Series 2 Alphard (bear in mind Alphard 1st series uses different fluid!!!) https://lexuspartsdirect.co.uk/product/lexus-genuine-ws-atf-fluid-1l/ Lexus Parts Direct sell it for just over £10 a litre with a few quid delivery. A pound cheaper that Toyota Parts Direct. lol Sometimes this does go on back order as there is a shortage ( an additive shortage) so get some now or put yourself on back order if they run out. Other prices i have seen are £15 per litre, so Lexus Parts Direct have a decent price.
  2. adrian flux £365 for the ANH20... 1st series they can be quite competitive, not so much for the 2nd series, it first came back at 700. But i told them that is unrealistic and the lady went off to get a better price and came back at 365 with a 400 excess... was 500 but negotiated that down. Excess is a bit higher than i normally have it so took out excess protect to pay the excess.
  3. Upload some photos Mark, when replyig to a post you will see a paperclip icon, hit that and load up a few pics. may help your sale. Good luck
  4. Best have a transmission service. Replace fluid and filter. You will need either a garage or transmission specialist to do this for you. I would do it sooner than later

  6. @Island limo Did Picasso's answer solve your problem?
  7. We should also consider camping spots nearby or actual camping areas if we get permission.
  8. Howdy folks! It's time we start planning for another large club meet up. If any of you remember our inaugural meet last year we had a cool convoy and over 60 Alphards & Vellfires turned up to our really successful meet at the British Motor Museum. This year we are going to attempt a much larger event and would be a good idea to get some ideas on Venues ideally mid country like midlands area. Does anyone have any good suggestions of location that can handle (and accept of course) over 100 vehicles? For me I will stick down the British Motor Museum but will list any other suggestions here for everyone to have a bit of a vote. Also if anyone would like to help us then send me a message. 1. British Motor Museum (Gaydon) 2. Castle Coombe 3. Bank House Farm Camping Site (Suggested by John L) We were also thinging of a bring your own picnic style meet where we can join in and make friends with fellow members. It was suggested at the last meet that this would be a great idea. Let's get the ball rolling, please have your say and leave a comment below.
  9. welcome to the club Alasdair. Enjoy the Alphard when you get it.
  10. saw this on youtube the other day... great find. Old fashioned mechanics always works
  11. inside does it have a transponder chip?? some are replacement keys where you swap your old transponder in to the new shell. Some people break their key shell so you can buy replacement shells with blank blades with no chips in them. So best check first some key companies can clone the transponder without the car present as well
  12. you will see some part numbers here. you can cross reference these numbers. Blue print do some decent disks, i am using them and are great
  13. Maybe worth giving Croma security a call to confirm that is the case. New ECU is not cheap https://www.locksmiths.co.uk/find-a-locksmith/croma-locksmiths-bournemouth/ They are in Winton
  14. Welcome to the club Jacek!
  15. @Kate B did you manage to sort this Kate??
  16. I am not 100% but i am sure i read somewhere you have to register the 12v battery to the car. This video kind of confirms this, same goes for all Toyota and Lexus vehicles
  17. i have added a standard link to the description
  18. We now have an order page for our club stickers. You can order the stickers using the form below or using this link. We accept PayPal only on this form. if you cannot pay by PayPal then contact us. The sticker is a external stick (Due to Alphard's having dark tinted windows)
  19. I always come out of these sort of places with sore throats due to the dry heating... soon as the heating comes on i always get sore throat. Covid may be additional.
  20. I replaced mine.. made a big difference in handling. Mine were shot. Not expensive if you get aftermarket
  21. when making a post, when filling out the details, look for the paperclip See this screensot
  22. iCarSoft Toyota scanners work a treat and you can see live testing, if you know how to read them. Did you say you have another code appear since you had the sensors replaced?
  23. I would of said thats sounds fuel related. But I will assume it did not bring on the EML? Are you sure the right sensors were fitted? Also as EM Light is not on then its bypassing, mechanical or wrong sensor. since the oxygen sensor output help control engine timing, combustion intervals and air to fuel ration, a faulty sensor can cause the vehicle to run rough.
