  1. Hello Dave, Welcome to the Forum. I expect Picasso, or others, will provide an answer for you.
  2. Hello Paul, Welcome to the Forum. Check the recommended garages section
  3. Hello Billy, Welcome to the Forum
  4. What Lee says is true for low value items. I import from Germany using Fedex and can assure you that Fedex is extremely efficient at collecting duties and VAT, when appropriate. Just keep your purchase value as low as you can. The duty and VAT thresholds are explained on the HMRC website.
  5. Hello Daveo, Welcome to the Forum.
  6. There is a bulb list on here somewhere; not sure whether it includes all courtey lighting though. Try the service section. Or search through The Alphard Club or Monster S, as I think one of them added it ages ago. Good Luck.
  7. Gen 1 facelift comes with them (as an option) as mine is fitted with them.
  8. I have a similar problem, mine operate less than perfectly. I just use them manually. When operated electrically they open and close very quickly, not slowly and smoothly as you would hope.
  9. Hello Steve, Welcome to the Forum. Water jacket ? The engine block, or part of the hybrid system ?
  10. Hello Gary, Welcome to the Forum from afar.
  11. Looks like a remote starter. I believe it is illegal to start a vehicle remotely in the UK if vehicle is on a public road.
  12. It is B grade, but so what. I agree with Lee, worth a try.
  13. I cannot comment on whether this will work. It looks nothing like the OEM unit, which has the Toyota trade mark moulded in. I doubt any, other than a genuine Toyota unit will work straight from the box. Maybe the Toyota one will need specialist programming, I don't know.
  14. Pushing the black button does nothing ! You either need a remote as highlighted by Lee, or maybe some other issue is present. My guess ? You need the remote.
  15. This is the immobiliser key, and should open the side doors after you have unlocked the van. I don't have a part number for the remote, or know where to get one programmed / matched to the van. Maybe an auto-electrician can do it, maybe not. Maybe a Toyota dealer, but that won't be cheap. Make sure you have a spare immobiliser key. Without one you cannot start the van, even with the remote.
  16. Yes, I have three sets of keys. Each set is a triangular immobiliser key, and the rectangular Smart key fob.
  17. Hello Gina, Do you have the motor ? Do you plan to get one from Northstar ? Otherwise, there is the campervan company on the Totnes Road. I requested help on one occasion and they were not able (or willing) to help. There is also a camper van company near Ashburton and another near Barnstaple. Getting the correct motor could be quite a challenge. At a guess, your MOT garage, near the college (if I remember correctly), should be able to fit the correct motor. Good Luck
  18. No. It does not operate the side doors. The smart fob I have, for the same year as your model, is rectangular. Has three buttons, lock and unlock, and tailgate. On the back it has SMART DOOR LOCK. Capitals as per on the fob. But it is much smarter than that. The van can sense it when near and unlock the vehicle as you approach (including the side doors). If you walk away from the van with the fob in your pocket, the van will lock. I also think you cannot lock the unit in the van. It probably does a lot more, but those are the only features I am aware of. The immobiliser key should open close the sliding doors, if the dash switch is enabled. My immobiliser key has four buttons, Lock, unlock, and each power door. Good Luck.
  19. Hello Brandon, Welcome to the Forum. Which door ? Do you have smart locking ? If so, the button is a sensor not a push button.
  20. Hello Steven, Although this is a slightly controversial topic many of us normally run on E10. Which fuel to use has been a popular topic previously. Lots of reading for you to do if in doubt as to which fuel to use. Search for E5 / E10 or similar.
  21. Hello Kerry, Welcome to the Forum.
