  1. only advice, is that due to it being folded in shipping, you may want to give it some mild steam ironing with a sheet over the top, to get out some of the fold creases so that it sits perfectly 'flat', I didnt bother, so it took a few weeks to settle completely
  2. I installed one of these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Battery-Monitor-Campervans-Compatible-bluetooth/dp/B08VHMJYXY Use an app on your phone to connect to it and monitor your battery. Will show you the charging status, the cold cranking ability. Its kinda a plug in and forget about it gizmo, but it at least will give some early warning of problems with either the battery or charging circuitry
  3. I thought, in the UK, it was illegal to leave an attended vehicle with the engine running?
  4. stud things are to clip the curtain ties to.. The button near the power outlet is usually a way to send a handbrake signal to the headunit so that if thinks you are parked, and allows you to do things ordinarily blocked, such as adjust the bluetooth settings, display video on headunit.
  5. no - was hosted in russia, so I would speculate that the current conflict may be a cause - from the error, it looks like the host company has not been paid and has suspended the site
  6. immobiliser - you transponder in the key has not been linked to the ecu to be clear, there are two ecu involved, one related to the button operations, another for the security
  7. it should be a plug already in use for the sidelight and brake, but with the spare wire present for the permanent switched live. Its one of the things that puzzles me, in terms of cost to toyota, its the cost of a switch and fuse /relay. lights on = sidelight (5W) (Single filament illuminated) brake on = brakelight (21W) (single filament illuminated) foglight on = Brakelight (21W)
  8. it makes a big difference - I used to use an old picnic blanket in my older Estimas, but this is so much neater
  9. yes, if you can get the parts. I saw a youtube vid (malaysian) of them retro fitting the parts to the drivers side sliding door
  10. wire loom exists, there should even be a connector behind those buttons to connect a switch to. There should exist the relay socket and fuse position in the boxes already. I added some wiring diagram to this thread, before the russian site went offline

  12. gen 2 key programming takes less than 6mins via techstream, you need at least one working 'key'
  13. Just another note - there are different ones available if you have the centre dash speaker, and you can pay double or more for leather, if so inclined
  14. if you want plain black they have it in flannel (nicer feeling, £20 as opposed to £15) Either will make a huge difference to the reflections, now if i leave a parking permit ticket on dash, its like being blinded by the reflection off of the glass. It is especially good when the sun comes out after a rain shower, only have to squint against the road reflections and not the dash!
  15. I got a 20 series one on ebay, I see this 10 series on on aliexpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000021581313.html
  16. winter packs usually are rear fog, second battery or larger battery (with either dual/enlarged battery tray) heated steering wheel, defrost element for wiper blades, ceramic preheater in the cabin to get warm air whilst engine heats up, sometimes they have a baffle on the radiator to reduce cold air flowing over it until engine is warm.
  17. i have a cheaper felt material one on my 20series, fits well, I havent stuck it down, it doesnt budge. It really helps with reflections off of the dash on the windscreen when driving, was pretty cheap on ebay
  18. not me, I would have done so, but Im a 20 series owner, so it wasn't a priority. I did however come across some resellers of a cd/iso that claims to have even the hybrid 10series stuff - again in Japanese, but with the main indexes converted to english, so navigation is easier, the images of course are harder to modify because they were PNG format
  19. Pffft, my 2010 has so many antennas, I wouldnt even know where to start. Its the one part of the wiring diagrams I have not been able to get.
  20. on my door jam, there is another tyre combo listed - T165/80R17 104M So perhaps 101W is not so crazy if the overall width of the tyre has changed? edit: maybe this is my spare wheel? the pressure listed is 4.2 as opposed to 2.4
  21. I no longer have access to the older wiring diagrams (was hosted on a russian website) But check that nothing is covering the sensors, do you have a towbar fitted?
  22. if they went that far with the amps and screens, did they also upgrade all the speakers themselves/?
  23. on a 2006? no - you dont have a sticky button on a keyfob?
  24. Mine are 96H. 215/60r17 - exactly what it states on the door jam Searching for tyres, I find the higher rated ones seem cheaper, probably due to supply/demand, higher rating has to be safer, am i right?
