Has anybody used Amayam for spares?
Do you still have any details/links on the parts? As I wanted to add the lever to my chairs too, thanks.

Android Head Unit
It looks like the same unit I have got, it was fitted by the dealer. It was a bit slow to boot and response was a bit sluggish, but all in all it does what I need, Spotify, kids videos, bluetooth music and phone calls.

Suspension braces
Well... basically as the car feels like a Van to drive, high center of gravity and body roll when cornering, etc... Strengthening the chassis should help with the body roll and make it a bit more stable, so it feels more like driving a normal car in theory.

Suspension braces
Looks like some kind of aftermarket chassis strengthening. To improve the strength and handle of the car.

Rear View mirror 20 Series
Hi, while we are on the topic of rear view mirror, mine had became loose. Wonder have anyone experienced the same or have tried to remove those plastic covers which covers the fixing? As I don't want to force it and break anything, thanks.

Toms LTS 2
This is the installation picture of similar system, pretty simple. Is does not do anything else apart from changing the throttle response.

Toms LTS 2
Normally they are plugged inline the gas pedal sensor port which is on the gas pedal, normally they are just plug and play so you might want to check there.

Gen 3 vs Gen 2? any proud Gen 3 owners?
Going back to the post, I have driven a Gen3 Alphard when holiday in Japan. In my opinion it is much more modern and refined then Gen2, you get better chassis, seats, technologies, looks (personal), etc... The only downside is the cost, I think they start from Β£30000 in the UK, where a decent late year low milage Gen2 maybe around Β£20000. If your budge allows then get Gen3, otherwise Gen2 is still very good. If you search TM Trading which I think have a London showroom, you can probably have a look around and get test drive, etc... and experience yourself. They should have a few Gen3 Alphard/Vellfire.

Stereo upgrade with dual camera input
By the way, why do you want to change the head unit? As I heard the original theater sound system is actually quite good.

Stereo upgrade with dual camera input
If I am correct the theater sound system are connected from the Toyota head unit -> amp under front passenger seat -> speakers. If you want to retain all the speakers, you need to figure out how/which connector/pin connects the head unit to the amp and how does it work. Or I would assume you can get one of those adapter. If you just replace the head unit and connect the ISO adapters, I don't think you will get any sound. I have a small Toyota amp which powers the rear speakers, and there were no sounds from the rear speakers on the aftermarket head unit, so I have to run new speaker cables from the head unit to the speakers bypassing the amp. This thread might help you

Google japautospares, it will have all you required.

Ceiling TV entertainment unit
Not sure if you have sorted it out, but I think you need to check all the cables on the back of the Head Unit and see if they are connected properly. This picture should be the back of the unit and you can see there is a video out cable.

Alarm Recommendations
I was looking around and the shop recommended one of these Ghost immobiliser like Autowatch. Basically even if they managed to get inside your car with either your physical key or relay code from your key, they won't be able to start it as you need to enter a combination of buttons from the car to deactivate it. As alarm does not actually prevent them from stealing the car, and some can be either bypass or hacked. It is annoying that the smart key fob cannot be set to sleep mode like my other Toyota fob.

Alarm Recommendations
Hello, was wondering have anyone fitted an alarm to their car? As mine does not come with one, thanks.
