  1. Sure, Pending on price that it Toyota wanted £15 per clip. They look like a flat head screw in grey. On the seat rails you have the end cap's which have a screw in the middle to hold them down in the boot and behind the middle row seats.
  2. Hi, Does anyone have the clips for the runner end caps? all of mine have gone brittle and broken. or atleast know where I can get some please.
  3. So this new fuel roll out on the 2002 - 2008 3L models will actually burn your piston rings and cause clogs. This came from a mechanic who actually contacted Toyota Japan and asked them directly. The only option for us is to use super unleaded.
  4. Any Garage can, its standard parts and oil if you have a 3L then thats the same engine that is in a lexus rx300.
  5. Yes, it will be fine with the 2003 and up either 2.4 or 3L engines you will have lower fuel economy but so will we all.
  6. Or anti rol stabiliser bars
  7. It's a Jap socket. You need to get one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/Travel-Adapter-Converts-Canada-Australian/dp/B07HL9GXRM/ref=sr_1_11?dchild=1&keywords=travel+adapter+uk+to+japan&qid=1624982370&sr=8-11
  8. 1. tyre tread 2. Vaccum clips on the air filter box 3. connectors on the battery and the mount it's sat on 4. make sure it's been underselaed 5. If a new radio is installed make sure it's been soldered in and not scotch locked 6. check gear box fluid is red not black or brown 7. check to make sure its had all it's recall work done such as brake master servo and airbags
  9. Yes, you'll need to select aux/dvd but can buy a phono to rca lead. have seen it working in the past.
  10. Yes thats normal, as the Petrol tank goes under pressure and creates a vacuum when its being used because of the fuel pump and injectors. The hiss is letting the pressure out. So it's a good sign if there was no hiss every time that would mean you have a leak in the fuel system and air is getting in loosing pressure.
  11. Hi and Welcome. Thank you for the videos. I've pinned this to the top so everyone can click on the link for the information videos.
  12. it just unscrews and the new one screws in. easy job.
  13. Most parts are available in the UK under other vehicles. Toyota use their parts globally. Servicing is not an issue at normal garages. Toyota do not want to touch it because it's a import and therefore they don't have a clue.
  14. Using google translate is the only way. Except it does not pick up shorthand japanese. So thats just a guessing game.
  15. check it with a multimeter it will soon tell if it is AC or DC
  16. unfortunately not. Unless you can speak to a tech minded person on the sales floor so to speak there will be no way of telling unless it actually states it in the description.
  17. Unfortunatly not. It would require the ECU to be re flashed on the 2006, from 2002 - 2004 they used the same ecu then changed it for the 2005-2008 models.
  18. Yes, it's a nightmare. You will need to get the body work redone and holes filled.
  19. Xtrons does one that fits nicely. If you remove the original head unit you will loose lane assist, front and rear cameras and will need new ones to get them working again.
  20. yes its just a facelift. no difference on chasis.
  21. Sounds odd to me seems like the sensor for park is not validating that its clear to start. have you tried a code reader to see if there are issues?
  22. Same as the previa struts I believe
  23. remove the rear trim on the boot to access the boot ones the rear lights on the main body of the vehicle are screws/bolts which need to be undone then the lights slid off.
  24. you need to go in through the boot. Remove the trims and then its a 13mm socket which can be undone but becareful as the spoiler is normally stuck on to the paintwork with the age of the vehicles.
