  6. Hi, it is under the middle box between passenger and driver seat. I unplugged it and then found the + and - wires and connected the USB sockets to it. This way it only powers on when I hit the button. I left the converter in the space. but make sure you solder the wires and use heat shrink wraps on it then cable tape. (the fabric type) to stop rubbing on the metal housing.
  7. Thank you. Didn't get an alert for this. i'll subscribe to this topic.
  8. Hi Yes we are. How much would you want and postage please.
  9. It's two different motor sides. so the wiring goes to two different fuse boxes. There is on on the right side of the drivers buttons near the door. (behind the dash) The other is in the passenger footwell near the bottom left of the door you remove a plastic cover to get at them.
  10. From Amazon. It's not a workshop manual rather than a vehicle manual.
  11. no still there www.gfautomotive.co.uk
  12. I cant find the part number for the screws on the caps. I have all the caps just not the screws. Toyota didn't know what I was talking about.
  13. Yeah I agree. But i'd rather air on the side of caution rather than an expensive bill for redoing the piston and seals.
  14. Sure, Pending on price that it Toyota wanted £15 per clip. They look like a flat head screw in grey. On the seat rails you have the end cap's which have a screw in the middle to hold them down in the boot and behind the middle row seats.
  15. Hi, Does anyone have the clips for the runner end caps? all of mine have gone brittle and broken. or atleast know where I can get some please.
  16. So this new fuel roll out on the 2002 - 2008 3L models will actually burn your piston rings and cause clogs. This came from a mechanic who actually contacted Toyota Japan and asked them directly. The only option for us is to use super unleaded.
  17. Any Garage can, its standard parts and oil if you have a 3L then thats the same engine that is in a lexus rx300.
  18. Yes, it will be fine with the 2003 and up either 2.4 or 3L engines you will have lower fuel economy but so will we all.
  19. Or anti rol stabiliser bars
  20. It's a Jap socket. You need to get one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/Travel-Adapter-Converts-Canada-Australian/dp/B07HL9GXRM/ref=sr_1_11?dchild=1&keywords=travel+adapter+uk+to+japan&qid=1624982370&sr=8-11
  21. 1. tyre tread 2. Vaccum clips on the air filter box 3. connectors on the battery and the mount it's sat on 4. make sure it's been underselaed 5. If a new radio is installed make sure it's been soldered in and not scotch locked 6. check gear box fluid is red not black or brown 7. check to make sure its had all it's recall work done such as brake master servo and airbags
  22. Yes, you'll need to select aux/dvd but can buy a phono to rca lead. have seen it working in the past.
  23. Yes thats normal, as the Petrol tank goes under pressure and creates a vacuum when its being used because of the fuel pump and injectors. The hiss is letting the pressure out. So it's a good sign if there was no hiss every time that would mean you have a leak in the fuel system and air is getting in loosing pressure.
  24. Hi and Welcome. Thank you for the videos. I've pinned this to the top so everyone can click on the link for the information videos.
