  1. If there is enough interest and suggestions there could be a poll on picking a site for the Camphard Wing of the wider club.
  2. Not had the light on yet but I'd guess the answer is a few miles as possible. I think letting the tank get close to empty is inviting damage.
  3. Or this is this one to the south a bit in Clarkson country. https://www.pitchup.com/campsites/England/Central/Oxfordshire/Chipping_Norton/cotswolds-camping/?adults=1&arrive=2022-09-09&depart=2022-09-11&type=10& Campsites probably wouldn't like the idea of a mass gathering on their site but it'd be funny if a few dozen Camphards rocked up.
  4. This seems to be the nearest large campsite to Gaydon with EHU. Maybe someone that's toured in the area will know better. https://www.pitchup.com/campsites/England/Central/Warwickshire/Stratford-upon-Avon/green_gates_caravan_park/?adults=1&arrive=2022-09-09&depart=2022-09-11&type=10&
  5. Float it in the sub forum, it would be interesting to see the numbers so as to think about the size of campsite needed to invade.
  6. Could be cool if a ton of Camphard owners took over an entire campsite.
  7. 1. Would you be interested in attending a meet near Warwickshire in September? Possibly, it's a bit far but I'd look if there are any good camper sites nearby. 2. Do you have any ideas that could improve the meet? Not off the top of my head apart from a club sticker. 3. Would joining a convoy in interest you? Probably if I was attending, be cool if someone on the ground got photos. 4. Does show and shine competition interest you? Don't know what it is but probably not.
  8. I don't think I'm gonna bother getting black centre caps, the originals still look nice with that colour.
  9. Is 2.4m the max length that'll fit? I have my eye on the Reimo Palm Beach sunshade that seems to be 2.6m wide.
  10. I| didn't know you could get lighter versions. Is the blue type compliant with most pitches?
  11. Thanks. You got the same style wheels? Dropped off at 9am and all done for 3.30pm, great service.
  12. Forgot to take photo before parking in the tight driveway so full van image will need to wait. I think they look very good.
  13. There should the a dedicated 'What Is This Thing?' thread in here. These press stud looking things in mine have me baffled. There seems to be 3 or 4 on each side of the van front to back.
  14. That's it in for the job. Going all black with the option to get them diamond cut at a later date if I'm not happy. The firm doing it is run by a bloke that moved here from Australia a few years ago and he's worked on lots of Alphies back there. Says they are renowned for having 'Japanese Butter Bolts' that shear off easily if the correct torque isn't done accurately.
  15. I've read it's always better to have it too long than short when you need it obviously, but I've found so far that maybe 8-10m would be ample for most pitches I've been on, albeit that's only 5 different campsites. I'm thinking of splitting mine in half and although it'd be even heavier when together, I think I'd get away with half length most of the time.
  16. Mine has left Shatian Town in Guangdong and is en route. 😎
  17. I hate mine, it weighs an absolute ton and I havnt needed it to be as long as it is yet. I think it 15m and I might get a 5m one for easier use but then I know I'll book a pitch that needs a massive one. Regarding girth, everyone seems to use the super heavy orange cable and that's the limit of my electrical knowledge.
  18. The seller on Ali was called global automobile parts store.
  19. That's scary if your partner hadn't noticed either. I have no idea about leisure batteries still and need to learn so will watch this thread with interest.
