  5. Hi I don't have a rear dash cam but for the front I use a Mobius it was originally designed for use on a drone , it has great quality and costs around £50 .And instead of hard wiring I run it off a small charger( last or over 8 hours be fore needing recharging) I use a small square of Velcro and fix it to the inside of the passenger sun visor , saves wires dangling down. Maybe not what you may want but hopefully may be useful to others who want a simple fix
  6. hi Jilly, i took the little black transformer out of the blank key and inserted in its little slot in the key I had cuit from the master, along with electronic inners that work the opening and closing buttons etc . did notice the red indicator light on the key was very dim - suspect i need a new battery , whether or not that may help -but suspect in need to find how to program it
  7. I bought the the key from keymoon uk - sent them a photo of my original key and they cut it from that , returned in a 4way ( no inners) key - turns the engine on but need the chio to start it - -cost of the cut key £14 .Bought a chip on Ebay put the chip into the new key but didn't start the engine - I assume I now need to have it programmed ??
  8. thank you
  9. Hi when I bought my vehicle it only had on ignition key and two smart door lock fobs ( thanks to a member on here he gave great instructions on how to program them) ..I bought a key on line and it was cut using a photo I took and submitted of my original key- When received to day ,it opens the doors manually and when inserted into the ignition it turns all the systems on but the engine wont start ? inserted my original key and engine starts first time. Can anyone shed any light on why the replacement key doesn't work ( its a key only no circuit board inner)
  10. to be honest took me a while if you notice there are two latches one in front and one at the back. i moved the sear as far forward and it engaged the first latch the back one wouldnt engage to lock the sear clip - I just used the screwdriver to prize it up - the seat then moved on the runner - before that the runner was out of line with the runner on the opposite side .
  11. Hi had to smart door locks with the Alphard followed your instructions (2 attempts) and it worked great- just ordered a spare key from Keymoon uk ( sent photo of key) cost £13.56 on receipt will see if it works and will put it on a key ring with one of the smart door lock fobs and keep as spare
  12. Hi had the same problem with mine when I bought it,I wondered why the garage had the back left seat folded up. I found that the back latch was stuck, I used a screwdriver to flick it up - then pushed the seat all the way forward to click onto first runner and and the seat engaged and the runner went back .i
  13. cheers

  15. Hi all, just bought an Alphard G 55k on 2007 plate. Haven't took possession yet as I have paid for wax underseal, speedo to be changed to mph and a new sat nav / reversing camera to be fitted. Soon as I get it will book in for full service and have it checked over.
