  1. Hi Everyone, Does anyone know how to delete old CD's from the HDD system, I know how to upload however I can not work out how to delete old ones to give me more room to add new ones. many thanks in advance Cookie crew
  2. Also all the Taxi drivers around Birmingham have converted to LPG that seams to be the way stations stay open. They run hybrid petrol/electric with an LPG conversion it is even cheaper to run better than paying £1.60/ltr when by us LPG is £0.75 to £0.66/ltr massive saving all round.
  3. Hi it’s a sad to know, how we the British public have been mislead by a government that does not understand emissions, took mine for its MOT and the tester checked the emissions even though it is not required for an LPG vehicle and all where extremely low or none existent. Much cheaper than buying anything Electric and it keeps the vehicle range. The MOT test says it all it does not need to be tested for emissions. check myLPG.eu for stations it’s an app When we convert they have customers which gives them profit.
  4. Hi Harry, I bought a seventour P10 it is great and the video it 4k with front and rear camera. the only issue that I need to sort out is how to remove old CD's that have been recorded onto the HDD system, I just can not work it out. does any one have any idea how to do this. thanks in advance Cookie crew
  5. Hi Alan, We have a large number of suppliers located with in radius of our location, for your information you can upload an app onto your phone, the app is under LPG.eu it covers all of the UK and Europe with prices, location, and number of visits, you can even get google maps to give you directions to all the stations which makes it very easy to find when out and about, you can and I would recommend that when you visit you upgrade to the latest info, this will help everyone else that uses LPG.eu up to date with the info. Regarding the conversion, this has been done and it works perfectly, no loss of power, mpg is approx. the same, the only big difference is in my pocket of a saving of £.83/ltr so it does not take long to recover the money paid to have it in stalled, we have two vehicles that have now been converted both have covered a large number of miles with no issue at all, if you go into Europe there are loads more stations that sell LPG or GPL as they call it. as I always say if you don't use it you will lose it, it it converted and start saving, its the only way. to give you some back ground the French are manufacturer Dacia supplies all it's car with the option to have LPG installed from the factory and the French government has graded all cars that run on LPG as "carte air 1" which means they can enter all cities and towns with zero restrictions very much like electric cars, great news al round. hope this has been of use to you. cookie crew
  6. Hi Richard, We had the same issue, however after a bit of research there are a number of options. We did not want to lose the speakers and all the other items on the standard head unit so we did the following to establish the best route to overcome the current issue. Firstly I bought a FM transmitter from Halfords it was about £40.00 you plug it into the lighter socket and then tune it into the radio very easy to install then Bluetooth your phone to it and away you go. Works like a treat. Secondly I then wanted satnav for the UK and Europe as we do a lot of European travel. So a member from the club made reference to a product called a Seven tour P10. there are a number of videos on Youtube and other devices that do the same sort of thing. The P10 does have a front and read dash cam so that was an extra that is worth taking into account. We ordered it, it took a couple of weeks but not an issue as it was coming from the USA. I installed it and set up with my phone, so now I have apple Carplay or you can have the Android set up if you like on the same device. The picture quality is very good, the Video is 4k and again very good you get a 64GB card to record the video onto which is a bonus. the only issue I have found it is will drop connection however this might be to do with the actual phone connection not the device. I mounted mine on the dash in the center it is very clear easy to use and even gives you warning of oncoming traffic and lane departure warning, its not cheap however you do get a lot for your money. all the best cookie crew
  7. Hi Everyone, am going to get my Alphard converted to LPG mid this month. The tank will be mounted under the car. The spare wheel I will make a bracket for it inside. Once I remove the rear seats which I don’t use. does anyone have and comments to make on the conversion to LPG.
  8. Hi Dave, I have grown to like the standard head system. The HDD is great, still trying to workout how to remove old CDs from it otherwise a great car. It will get an LPG conversion done mid this month. Just like our Elgrand. At £0.62/ltr mad not to. And in France they have it everywhere plus to get a clean air cert from the Government because you run on LPG which means you can go anywhere any city and no charge or restrictions.
  9. Hi Dave, well I have taken the plunge and ordered one of these systems. I will keep you informed on how I get in with it.
  10. Hi, We have a 2009 Alphard with the same radio set up. To be honest we have an Elgrand and we undertook a radio replacement on reflection not the best move. my advice is keep what you have as it all works and everything is connected so no major change or possible problems. We bought a FM transmitter from Halfords for £40. You pick a FM channel that has nothing on easy in our cars, connect it to the radio, then connect it to your phone via bluetooth. You now have every channel you will need plus all your music and you can make and receive calls all on the same device. much cheaper than any other system plus your sat nav voice controls will work through it also. Use google translate to work your way around the controls just took a little time, you learn a lot. hope this is of use to you.
  11. Hi everyone, we have now had our Alphard for a couple of months and have fallen in love with it. We are looking at changing the auto box fluid, I have looked for a dip stick however I can not find one. If you can help on how you check the level that would be fantastic. also what type of flid should be used. all the best the cookie crew.
  12. Hi I've got a Gen2 would you help with the bulb list please. many thanks in advance.
  13. Hi everyone, Does anyone know how to change the language settings from Japanese to English. I have tried to use google translate to no avail. It has surround sound and have been told it may not have the ability to change, however I would like to establish if this is correct. 2009 Alphard 3.5 Thank you for your help in advance. cookie crew.
  14. Hi Picasso, Phew. I have found out today at last that it is a can chain. thank you everyone for your help. really looking forward to meeting other members during this year.
  15. Good afternoon everyone, Grea to be a Toyota Alphard owner very happy. I have a question which am finding really difficult to find an answer to..... Can anyone advise when the cam belt needs to be changed on the above vehicle? Does anyone know anyone that can carry out this work, everywhere I have contacted have said that they have no idea on how it is done, or I get no sorry we can't do that or can't help. It's the same engine that is in the Lexus RX350 however Lexus have drawn a blank, Toyota have no idea, so as you can see it's now getting a bit frustrating. 😕 or is it a chain so this is why no one knows how to do it. please can anyone help me. cookie crew.
