  1. Hi Steve, I tried to edit this to discover the sticker cost. The editor didn't open for me.
  2. Hello Erica, Welcome to the Forum. There are lots of permutations for a conversion; and the price will vary accordingly. I have sent you a personal message. Please read it and reply.
  3. Toyota Power Steering Fluid, 1 litre.
  4. Just one other point, Nigel. None of the above will improve your cooking skills !
  5. I agree with Michael, above.
  6. Hello Phillip, Welcome to the Forum. Happy Alpharding
  7. Hello David, Welcome to the Forum. Nice van. I like the two tone.
  8. Well Done Esther. Well done Steve.
  9. Hello Clayton, Welcome to the Forum. Seating. It does (at least) mean changing (some of) the rails. Your model will have four. You need five for the 1.5 plus 1 seating. I have never done it, but on the principle that putting things back together is never as easy as taking them apart, be careful. However, I would expect any converter to be able to do the job; although they normally only take them out. They may also be able to supply the seating too. Headunit. Can be done, ensure you ask about the cameras and steering controls being retained before agreeing to have it done. Curtains. My electric curtains are 'jerky' and do not perform perfectly. Unless you like to 'play' with them it is of no consequence. Park up, push button, manually adjust. I had thought of WD40 to lower friction; but friction may not be the cause. They do close and open almost instantly, I would have preferred a slow smooth action. Let me know about the furniture polish approach. I hope it works for you.
  10. Hi Ben There is a thread on this Forum that lists reliable Alphard/Vellfire friendly (and competent) garages. Please search it out, and add your recommendation.
  11. Hello John, You talk about 'we', so welcome to you both to the Forum. I have the same as you are getting. Fantastic. NC500, for you I hope.
  12. Picasso asked you for the VIN number, which is allocated by Toyota; and is displayed on the B pillar, passenger side. I assumed that, because you said the van wasn't registered, i.e. assigned a registration number, you couldn't provide the VIN number as requested by Picasso. I am glad Lee sorted it for you, he is probably the best member for part numbers.
  13. Does not need to be ! You don't need it registered to have a VIN number ! The VIN belongs to the vehicle, not the DVLA. You should find it in the B pillar, passenger side. It Won't look like a European one, because it isn't. Picasso is trying to help you. I checked the EPC myself, and there does not appear to be a rubber boot on there. There are more than one stay bar, maybe the boot comes attached to the correct one !
  14. Hi Teekay, I know you have just received your Alphie, so it's early days yet. I would be concerned about this, as it indicates, to me at least, a lack of care and maintenance. Assuming you are not a mechanic, I would have a very competent mechanic, or the RAC or AA, do a thorough examination of the vehicle. Has it been MOTd and registered yet ?
  15. As I mentioned above there are Sale Conditions. For the benefit of all members, I attach the following. Private Listings (if previously used in the UK) You must state the following. 1. Price 2. Age, Mileage (km's or miles) and condition 3. Car history whilst in the UK. Any Japan history is advantageous to the sale 4. Damage or faults 5. Location 6. Photos 7. Full description 8. For your protection and us meeting GDPR requirement rulings, Please do not post full name and addresses here. Please use the forum messaging system or email address.
  16. Larry, We ARE trying to help you. I wrote a PM to you about this on Sunday. Please answer my PM I found six photos uploaded in January, probably the ones you mention above. I asked if the missing ones are those or some you uploaded more recently ? I also offered to move the photos to the For Sale section for you and pointed out that the Forum has minimum requirements for the Sales Section. Asking price is one. Please read the Conditions of Sale, answer my questions, and I WILL sort this out for you. I will also re read the Conditions, as I haven't for a long time, and need to remind myself too.
  17. Be careful. Be sure to get a guarantee that your cameras will remain fully operational, and your steering wheel controls.
  18. Hello Mike, Welcome to the Forum. I recommend you buy the JPNZ Owners Manual from Ebay. Worth every penny . What head unit do you have ? You probably have a CD player (and DVDs) behind your screen !
  19. Hello Paul, Welcome to the Forum.
  20. Hi Patrick, Welcome to the Forum Try eightseater.blog.com for instructions on how to use the HDD head unit. It's in English.
  21. Ideally, you want lead calcium type, high CCA, but correct size and terminal configuration.
  22. You ought to be able to drag and drop into this topic. I checked the Gallery and your photos are not there. Nor are they in the Members Photo area. Edit. I did find some photos. I need to take a longer look at this. In the meantime, if you want to, send me your photos via PM I'll try and post them for you.
  23. Try Tanya Batteries, they do mail order. Very quick and exceptionally well packed.
