hi sorry not replied sooner the shift solenoids in the transmission to get to it you need to take the transmission sump off in there you will find whats called the valve body on the valve body is 7 solenoids unless you know which one you could just replace the faulty one . the oe no. for the valve body is 3541033240 google the part no. see what it looks like you can buy refurbished unit with the solenoids all ready on it i have atatched a drawing for you .

Headlight intermittent fault
hello sounds like your head light ballast is failing my advice is to change both head light bulbs first this will be the cheaper option as the ballasts are at least £400 + vat from toyota if its the ballast i can give you a link to new aftermarket ones about £110 all in with the vat if you want to pm me your reg no. i will message you with a picture of location of the ballast

Just after a bit of input has any body dealt with some one on ebay selling jdm parts goes by the ebay username jdmcarpartsuklimited he is based in Leominster i have bought some parts from him which are completly wrong i am now being given the run around he saying correct but i know they wrong will return through ebay . i was just wondering has anyone else dealt with him.

Alphard 3lit auto gearbox speed sensor
Hello Kevin can you pm me your reg no. And I will get the part no. For you regarding the part that converts the miles is called a ckun09 chip this sits behind the dash there is a possibility it could be that at fault . The speed sensor there is 2 fitted to the gear box as I had mine replaced 18 months ago similar fault to yours .

Hello John if a chip has been fitted it should be showing mph on alphard 2006 onwards they are canbus system if you bought from dealer I would check with them have they fitted one I have attached picture of what a canbus chip looks like .
