  2. i personaly steer clear of a early hybrid anything upto 2008 parts are exspensive for any part to do with the hybid system
  3. the large circled red is the complete arm the smaller circle is the bush that needs replacing garage need to take arm off press bush out then press new one in be just as quick to replace complete arm in ebay for about £70 with ne ball joint
  4. its the lower suspension arm at the front will be easier and cheaper to replace the complete arm

  9. Bank one front one you also have one on the rear which is bank 2 there are 4 oxegen sensors on the 3.0 engine

It's not fuel related its just normal wear and tear what you need to remember some of these sensors have not been replaced before if you been closer to coventry I would have read the codes for you as I have techstream software which is the proper toyota software knock sensors read the vibrations in the engine bit of advice if you do replace these buy genuine toyota only as you will want to do this job only once don't buy cheap aftermarket ones which can be found on ebay for about £40 for 2. genuine ones about £120 each
  12. Does sound like knock sensor issue there is 2 knock sensors worth changing both as its a pig of a job to do need to take inlet manifold off
  13. Hello 2002 - 2008 is pump 2008 onwards is manual rack they have electric steering colum
  14. Another way of checking if you got pressure building up is with engine at idle take your oil cap off do you have smoke coming out out also are you burning oil
  15. Sorry to be a bearer of bad news I had same problem with my 3.0v6 had to have full rebuild
  16. yes that the air intake pipe thats your problem you got a bigger problem now the yellowish liquid is oil your engine has blow back which means oil is passing your piston rings and causing pressure in the rocker and the pressure is passing your valve stem seals this is down to bad maintenace not reguar oil changes your pistin rings are stuck sorry to say this is a full engine rebuild

  20. just pm you richard its not a proper workshop manual does not include full rebuild like a haynes manual its all mostly engine rebuild
  21. steer clear just purchased the workshop manual 2002 - 2008 its rubbish misleading it includes the interior which you find in your owns handbook and it only includes the engine rebuild which there is a link on the forum for free somewhere nothing on brakes discs exhaust nothing complete waste of money .
