    I don't use my smart key as I have a 2nd security alarm fitted but just tried my smart key if you press and release finger it will beep press but hold your fingers on button for a few seconds it will beep hazzard lights will flash and your tail gate will open . I don't know if you know if you keep the smart remote in your pocket drivers door will unlock when you press black button on the handle

    i can tell by the photo its lowered there is no clearace between the wheel arch and top of tyre on the shocks should be a round what looks like a nut you can manually adjust the hight of each shock high or low but wont make much difference to be honest with you i would personaly put it back to standard suspension cost is about £1200 in parts i had mine done when i bought mine as it was lowered and to many speed bumps and pot holes where i live.

    Amayama does not guarantee they have the parts you have to put a request in and they get back to you besides shipping will be more expensive that the part due to size

    Another thing shock top mount bearings these are only plastic if these are worn they would affect your steering as shocks turn when your steering so may be worth checking

    Do you know what chip has been fitted because early alphard supposed to be a ckun09 chip alphard 2008 onwards is a canbus chip

    Speak to Ian taylor uk Ltd stoke on trent if you been coventry or near there is a garage I know about £240 labour £90 for the bushes is a awkward job as back suspension needs dropping but what you been quoted they don't want the job but if you said yes nice earner for ripping someone off

    Direct line lost my business doubled my renewal this year I think a lot of owners are going to be shocked with there renewals not just with direct line

    Been with direct line 2 years 1st year £400 2nd year £520 just had my renewal £980.00 massive jump been shoping around tried most of the list of insurance company's listed on here they all quoting me more than direct line I have no claims or convictions full ncd they playing postcode lottery
