Try Toyota/Alphard/EPC, or wait for Picasso to request your Reg/Vin -

That could be the ETC above the fold out draw. Does the ETC fit in there, or is an ETC already present. Almost looks like a detent (for a finger) to allow the ETC to be withdrawn. Just a slot to take a card ! -

Sorry. I have an earlier model; and foolishly described the ETC position in that, thinking it would be the same in your model. That module does not resemble the ETC I have; but again it could be a newer version. I assume the coin holder Chris.ac mentions is below those switches in your photo, or behind your phone. As ever, many Alphies/Vellfires are modified by their former Japanese owners. Some do them well, others don't. -
Just as an aside. You should never let your van be towed. Automatic transmissions can be harmed by towing. You should use a dolley at least, and preferably a flat bed truck. This applies to all automatics, not just Alphies. It is not unusual to have battery issues. Batteries can be tested by any competent garage, or Halford, Kwik Fit, and others. They need to be tested under heavy load. A voltmeter is not enough, unless you have a dead cell. (10.8v). You must keep yours fully charged, certainly the starter battery. If you park off road, a smart charger is a great investment. Check for loose connections on the battery and earth leads. Ensure the room (mood) lights are off, which can be difficult to detect in daylight. I have dimmable lights running off the leisure battery; again essential to ensure they are off !

What, leaving a big opening in your dash ? It is unnecessary, and would not be needed in the UK; but you have been left with a hole in your dash panel ? Have you just bought this vehicle ? Privately, or from a business ? -
Hello Lyn, Welcome to the Forum. How recently did you buy it ? I assume you are referring to the main (starter) battery. Contact Tanya batteries, they will help. They do a great mail order service. Make sure you get the correct terminal layout and terminal size. If you are referring to the Leisure Battery, give Tanya the part number (on the battery) and , I expect, they will help with that too. If the leisure battery, are you sure the split charging works. Last, but not least, is the alternator working ? I would expect it is not that on a vehicle as young as yours. Is it high mileage ? I'll also send you a Personal (Private) message.

Electronic Toll System. It looks like a mini-disc to the right, lower than the steering wheel. -

Have you fitted a new head unit ? -
The standard wheel size / tyres for your year are 205/65/16, which are not easy to obtain, tending to be budget variants. 225/55/17. What is your trim level ? AS, AT ? As that is where the 215 variations seem to occur. Most Gen 1 models are specified as 205/65/16. These are for non Hybrid as my manual does not include that data, so I would assume they are the same as conventional models. So, with your set up, your speedometer will read 4% too slow ! Are your wheels standard, as changes to offset will impact wheel-arch clearances ? You have gained 13mm in ride height.

Barriers near me in the coastal region are posted as 198cm ! (6'6"). So I still do as JD suggests, as I know that some barriers are not level across their width. All it needs is a still touch from a delivery van, or something, and the posted height is no longer accurate. If the approach road is not level, are they ever, and depressed (less than 180 degrees) the clearance distance will be even less. I haven't done the maths, but with a 5 metre vehicle the middle of the van will be 'lifted' and reduce the overall clearance height. I have also seen pop tops with a roof higher than the standard 4cm gap !

You need to share the wheel and tyre size, and tyre brand !
-
Could be. Provide a suitable supply and connect it to the RCA inputs.

I have the V6 version which stands at 1.94m. So just low enough for a 2m carpark (This does not include multi-storey car parks which often have low height in certain places. Also remember you are relying on the fact, or otherwise, that the overhead obstruction is at the correct height, and that the approach is level. Also, non standard wheel size and tyre combinations may affect this rather small gap.

Changing wheel tyre sizes (from OEM sizes) will affect the accuracy of your speedometer. Be careful in 20 and 30 mph areas !

Good for them. I pleased about that. How is the elbow ? How is the rebuild ? Get well soon. -

He Lee, Can the garage include your 'cats' in their own claim on their insurance ? Hope things get better for you very soon. -
What size wheels do you have ?

Hello Andy, Welcome to the Forum. This question has been asked, and answered, before on this forum. Hopefully someone will provide the answer for you directly and foreshorten your search considerably.

Yes. I was confusing myself. Avensis 2.0 litre with engine 1AZ-FSE made between July 2000 and October 2008. Avensis 2.4 litre with engine 2AZ-FSE made between June 2003 and October 2008. These models, and those produced before 1998, should continue to use E5. It is the 2AZ-FSE that was the problem; not the 2AZ-FE. Sincerest apologies for any alarm I may have caused.

I have certainly read that engines using direct injection are not suitable for E10 use. I wish I could remember where I read it, (if I did). I did do a lot of research into E10 at the time it was introduced. I need to research my research ! There was a large debate in this forum regarding whether members should use E5 (Super unleaded) or the new E10 in their Alphies.
