Aren't these part numbers in the Servicing section in this Forum. I have not checked, but have the recollection that they are.

Lost Key
, Hello Eona, Welcome to the Forum. I am very sorry to hear of your plight. How long have you have the vehicle for ? Consider contacting the seller or previous owner for help; they may even have an illicit spare. Are you able to get into the vehicle ? I assume you do not have a smart key either. Getting a blank ignition / door key is relatively easy; you need one with the 4D67 chip inside. They are quite inexpensive. However you will need a master key to get the blank cut, and probably an Automotive Locksmith to programme it. It's a long shot, I suggest you contact cuttothechase on his Youtube Channel. (Or Ldrego on this forum). He is local to you and may have some useful contacts. Try and be patient, I will notify my colleagues, and hope they can help you quickly. Will get back to you. I assume that an ignition barrel and key combination can be purchased

ETC How to disable
My supplier must have done the same. There are a few unconnected wires around and taped up. Thanks for the answer.

ETC How to disable
Hi Lee, Are you speaking of the unit in the dash that Northstar remove ? I still have mine, but it is silent. Is there another box that can be disabled. I'm just curious.

Gross Axle Weights & Aftermarket Wheels
Imho, fitting XL tyres not only carry the weight better, it also stiffens the ride a little; which I find beneficial.

Toyota Alphard / Vellfire
If you intend wild camping maybe it is worth considering. Heating the water could be a challenge. Carrying enough water shouldn't be. If you intend using campsites why not use their showers ? Or get an EHU fitted.

Toyota Alphard / Vellfire
According to reports in this forum, the 4 cylinder is not underpowered. From what I can gather the V6 is smoother and slightly more quiet. The 4 cylinder (engine) is easier to work on for plug changes. I also forgot to mention earlier, if you buy privately there will be no VAT; buy from a business and there most probably will be. If you run a VAT registered business you can reclaim the VAT; otherwise 20 % straight to the HM Treasury

Toyota Alphard / Vellfire
Many Alphards are not campers, many are. Stealth versions, such as my own, are hard to tell; no hint whatsoever on the outside; only be peering in from the front. Alphards that are not converted are very much a limousine ride, with gadgets to match; and luxury seating. A very, very upmarket MPV. Regarding cost; your first main decision is do you require a pop-top ? They can run to £5k to source and fit. Do you plan wild camping ? There are several first rate conversion companies, and many more that are not so good. My best tip? Go to your local beaches or campsites, talk to owners; they are all proud of their vans, probably members of this Club, and will be glad to speak with you. Finally, check out our Sales area; there are many photographs to widen your mind, and deepen your pocket ! Good Luck.

Toyota Alphard / Vellfire
Hello Allen, Welcome to the Forum. Don't underestimate the skills needed to convert your own camper. Depending on what you want / need; I would start there; make a list. Cooking, you will need plumbing and gas experience. EHU, you will need electrical experience. Furniture, you will need carpentry experience. You will also need to develop a process, in terms of what to do first, and how. Night heating, sounds like a diesel heater or LPG. No Alphards carry diesel fuel or LPG as OEM equipment. Ready converted vans are not cheap, but what you see is what you get. My advice ? Buy ready converted.

Mirror camera
Do you have these cameras on both wing mirrors ? If so, you may have lane assist.

Door mirror fuse
Try the passenger seat one, behind the glove box, ECU ACC, Fuse 24, 10A. Before you start, it is very difficult to get to. I doubt it is that if your air conditioning is working. I assume ACC is air conditioning. There are no other fuses identified as being for the mirrors.

Safety seating for child 128 cms
Under 1.35m tall If the child is under 1.35m tall then they will need a booster seat or cushion - in this case it’s likely the appropriate restraint would be a ‘group 3 – for children weighing 22 -36kgs and roughly 6-11 years old', though you would need to confirm this by checking the child's height. It is both legal and relatively safe for the cushions to be used in the front, but it is safer for them to be used in the rear of the car where possible (especially when an airbag is fitted). The child will need to use the booster cushion until they reach either 1.35cm or 12 years of age, then they will be legally allowed to travel in the front of the car with just a seatbelt as restraint. Booster seats are acceptable in the front. Number 3 in this case. So assuming only you and your granddaughter are the only travellers she can sit in the front (with the correct seat for her weight). If another adult is travelling, as well, they will need to sit on the R & R seat.

Safety seating for child 128 cms
Hello Susan, 1. Using a child car seat or booster seat Children must normally use a child car seat until they’re 12 years old or 135 centimetres tall, whichever comes first. Children over 12 or more than 135cm tall must wear a seat belt. You can choose a child car seat based on your child’s height or weight. My reading of these DVLA guidelines is that your granddaughter is not, yet, tall enough, nor old enough to sit in the front seat. Or, imho, in the back if the child seat cannot be secured legally

Alphard importer found in Staffordshire
£7.95 seems a little cheap; but it should not cost much more. This is not an uncommon upgrade, so some reading to do, but should be very easy. If you hit a problem come back to the forum as there are members, and Staff, that should be able to resolve any issues. The part numbers you need are available on this forum. Good Luck, but you shouldn't need it.

Differential problem
The guy in the South West appears to be based in Torquay; but is actually based in Exeter. Search for Hybrid Battery repair in Torquay, or similar. If desperate, I can find his name from a customer of his.

Newbie looking for advice
Do you have leisure battery fitted ? How do you expect to power the inverter ? You could try iced (instant) coffee and save a few bob. Do you have a gas hob ?
