I think you can get kits from the Barnstaple area. Don't underestimate the skills needed to design and build your own. Just cuttng the ply isn't easy ! Electrics to fit, gas to connect; be very careful.

Vehicles without sun roofs do seem to be quite rare. The roof structure is different, as Chris says above, and they seem to bought by convertors intending to fit a pop-top roof.
