  1. Hello Brian, Welcome to the Forum.
  2. Apparently, they only sell new parts; no pre-owned parts.
  3. Helen, You ought to upload a photo of the interior and kitchen area.
  4. Quite normal for an automatic transmission on a 'steep' incline. Just 'feathering' the 'gas' should do the trick; just be careful; you could also apply the parking brake but I never do.
  5. Sorry. I thought they did pre-owned parts !
  6. Hello Peter, Welcome to the Forum. I thought the Gen 1 facelift had an electric steering rack; I must be wrong. Jap Auto spares for a pre owned unit ?
  7. Hello Ian, Welcome to the Forum. Have you tried Jap Auto spares ?
  8. Send your registration or VIN to Picasso by Personal Message
  9. Hi Helen, I have added the price for you.
  10. Hello 'Smith', Welcome to the Forum. With respect, I think you may need to consider buying different child seats. Whilst child safety is absolutely paramount, surely you buy the seats to fit the van, not visa versa ! I have checked the middle seats in my van, a 2006; there are no ISOfix seat mounting points that I can find. So you need to review any prospective vans carefully, take your seat along and try and fit it . The Forum must have members who carry young children, so I hope you receive some helpful replies.
  11. Hello Antony, There is a very detailed answer to your question (somewhere) in the Forum. Try searching the Technical sections, perhaps for Camber.
  12. Hello Eric, Welcome to the Forum.
  13. Hello Mark, Welcome to the Forum. Will your passengers be adults or children, or a combination of both ?
  14. I have sent you two PMs. You have answered the latest one, which was a repeat of the first one. Thank you for your help in that matter.
  15. Your battery may be in need of a good charging.
  16. Can you post a photo please, so other Alpharders,, with Calder Conversions can comment on what you have; rather than on what they think you may have.
  17. Hello Kenneth, Welcome to the Forum.
  18. Hello Bill, Welcome to the Forum. Are you referring to a private sale, or a business sale ? If a private sale, yes, you can post in the Buy and Sell section. If a business sale, no, Trade Sales are not allowed unless you become a Trade Member. To do that, you need to contact The Alphard Club (as in the membership list) by Personal Message (which is Private).
  19. Have you used your internal blackouts yet. The insulated ones tend to encourage condensation on the inside of the windows ! So you still have moisture/wetness to deal with. Clearly a matter of choice, and the weather.
  20. A habitation check is not a legal requirement on a Campervan provided it is not hired out to customers. My insurance company requires a Gas Safety Certificate, as I carry liquified bottled gas. A GSC is not a legal requirement either, but it is very reassuring to know that your gas installation is safe. If you wish to read more about the legal situation you could read my thread on the subject. In it there is, imho, a good article exploring the safety side of things.
  21. As Alex says, scrape off a little solder mask, and solder a small wire to bridge the 'blown' copper track. You have nothing to lose.
  22. Hello PaulaMaria, Welcome to the Forum. Please note this thread is 3 and 1/2 years old.
  23. It should be obvious if it is undersealed, or not.
  24. Could you please edit your location to enable local members to assist you. Undersealing can be painted or sprayed. It is usually black. It can be a messy diy job. Many imported Alphies are not undersealed at the factory. So it is worth checking. Undersealing may be standard on later models; it certainly wasn't on Gen 1 models.
