  1. OK, Thanks, I found a bunch of data yesterday, but was unsure which model you had. Try Wheel-Size.com. You should be able deduce the 'sensible' options that suit your vehicle. Hope so. If not, let me know. Good Luck.
  2. Hi Michael, I withdraw my request as, whatever your response, it would not be relevant for consideration after all this time ! Hopefully, whoever was 'adjusting' the odometers went out of business years ago.
  3. Would you care to send me a Private Message with where the vehicle was purchased, please ?
  4. What is your model number ? AHW 30 etc ? It should be on your near side B pillar.
  5. Thank you. I am hoping an owner of th same as your vehicle will advise us what the standard size(s) are.
  6. Hello George, Welcome to the Forum. There is no 'best place' for camper conversions. It depends on your requirements and budget. However, you could start by getting in touch with Calder Campers.
  7. Hello Chris, Welcome to the Forum. There are websites that allow you to plan wheel / tyre combinations. It is important to maintain the rolling circumference to almost the same as OEM; whatever that is/was in your case. Certainly, smaller diameter wheels fitted with higher profile tyres should be a distinct possibility. What size tyres do you have fitted currently ?
  8. Any theory on where the clocking was performed ? Japan or UK ?
  9. Hello Jim, Welcome to the Forum.
  10. Ironically, the ULEZ checker states it is compliant, and TfL states (by omission) it isn't ! The ULEZ checker also states it sources data from TfL ! Which it acknowledges may not be correct ! Just to make matters worse, as Pal says, ULEZ areas will expand. Unfortunately, the next expansion of the ULEZ area is 29th August !
  11. It seems to me that, no matter how much 'official' paperwork (of non UK origin) you have, unless it is recognised by the UK authorities it is very problematic; as you have discovered. Sincerely sorry I cannot help any more.
  12. Hello again Greg, I have had a look at DVLA, hoping that would add more clarity. But it didn't ! (A green Alphard. I have not seen one in that colour yet). The DVLA has the vehicle as first registered in December 2005 (in Japan). However, the original Gen 1 was discontinued in April 2005; being replaced by a facelifted version. So I am unsure which version you have. Do you know ? Is that of any relevance ? Maybe, maybe not ! Whilst not definitive, it is generally believed that the latter model is ULEZ compliant and the former is not; at least officially. Other members (not necessarily with the hybrid version) have had similar problems. Hopefully, one of them can enlighten you.
  13. 100w. Phone charging, no problem. I believe the outlets are off when the ignition is off. Anyhow, a fridge could soon drain your battery.
  14. Why don't you take the advice of members ? Try Transport for London, I would be very surprised if they don't have it listed. Or just drive into London ! You will soon find out. What is your registration ? Send it by Personal Mail if you are unhappy going public with it.
  15. I have yet to see one mentioned on this forum. Good Luck. Let us all know if you find one.
  16. Hello Andy, Welcome to the Forum.
  17. Chris.ac is a good source for wiring diagrams. I believe a solution for this has been provided previously (not necessarily by Chris. I respectfully suggest you search in the search box on your home page. Or search through Chris's threads; but there are quite a few ! Hopefully Chris will rea this and respond to you.
  18. Google them ! Heathrow.
  19. Hi. Looks like my van, which has not been lowered. 'Touch wood' I haven't grounded mine yet. That front facing (blind spot) camera, when selected for front kerbs, is well worth using if you have the camera system fitted to your model.
  20. Please include a photo of your 'bodykit'.
  21. MPV Japanese Specialists. They have, or had, a 2007 (unconverted) in white. Be careful, as I think it has been lowered. You would need to check. My MZ G is converted, I am tempted to buy another one that has not been converted.
  22. IMHO, lowering can frequently improve the appearance of a vehicle. However, in my limited experience, it always hardens the ride; sometimes improving the 'handling, often having the opposite effect. Unless wheel arch clearances are maintained, especially under dynamic conditions, your tyres and bodywork could become very 'intimate' For me? I use my van as a cruiser, not a hot rod, and value the ride as developed by Toyota. A few of Alphards have electronically selectable suspension (HI TEMS) that alters the ride (not the ride height). I have it on my machine MZ G Edition. Two settings are available Comfort, and Sport What is it like ? Don't know, I never used it. I have always had it set on Comfort.
  23. Hello Jamie, Welcome to the Forum.
  24. Hello Greg. Is your van a Gen 1 or a Gen 1 facelift ? Either way try the TfL website. (Transport for London).
