Ian. 042 is the official colour ? (Pearl White). It is declared on your VIN plate number, which is on the passenger side B pillar. It is not exclusive to your Alphie. Should be available from any official Toyota dealer (and other sources but perhaps ebay is best avoided).

Road tax and fuel economy
Rojie replied to Lev's topic in Questions on Buying a Toyota Alphard or Vellfire in the UK.
Hello Lev, Welcome to the Forum. As far as I am aware, the first year is not different. There is a long thread on this Forum regarding fuel consumption. Try searching E5 E10. -

Ben's mobile is on the Forum somewhere. Search for Ben Hau or Radio Replacement He is difficult to contact. Looks like you may have an Xtrons unit fitted. -
Alphard head unit replacement
Rojie replied to Philmagicman's topic in Recommend a Dealer / Garage / Importer
Hi Phil, Welcome to the Forum. Regarding the tracking; your wheel tyre combination does not look standard; just to complicate things even more. Ben Hau in Birmingham is the go to guy for Android upgrades. -
Amina, The Alphard and Vellfire are the same vehicle. But there are detail differences. What parts are you looking for ? General service part numbers are available in the service section. Do you know your model number ? If you can send a Private Message to Picasso, and list the parts you need, and your registration, he will probably be able to give you the part numbers. To enable us all to help you, you need to be much more specific in specifying your needs. You could try Toyota/Alphard/epc.com; but you will need to be proficient at reading vehicle drawings. Did you contact Gibbs Automotive again yet; as I suggested ? However, don't expect them to have all the parts in stock !
-
If you still have no luck, contact me and I will send you the owners name.
-
Hello Amina, You should contact Gibbs Automotive again. A member has been in contact with the owner of Gibbs Automotive on your behalf. The owner has confirmed that they do work on Toyota Alphards.
-
I'll follow this up

Picasso has previously recommended Gibbs Automotive

2008 Vellfire FM Aerial issue
Rojie replied to Monkins's topic in Toyota Alphard & Vellfire Club Forum (2008 - 2015)
Hello Chris, Welcome to the Forum. -
Hi Andy, I believe I have read reference to a Gen 1 facelift fitted with Captains seats (a 7 seater) that rotate. These are not the foot rest version of the seats. However, I have never seen any of these seats, so either they are very rare, or don't exist.

Peep-peep annoying noise from fridge area
Rojie replied to Nella's topic in Toyota Alphard Club Forum (2002 - 2008)
This is for a standard van. -
OK Colin, YOU MUST READ THE LAST LINE OF THIS First off, it does not have a 2016 registration. It has 2006, and that is because it is a 2006 vehicle. It appears to be a Gen 1 facelift, with a 4 speed gearbox. It also appears to have a nearside middle row seat that probably comes out of the vehicle to assist with ingress for a disabled person. If it is one, they are known as Welcab seats. this could be really, really helpful. If you intend to use the vehicle for a travelling with a disabled passenger, ENSURE the seat operates as it should. If you do not intend to use it as such it may be better to look elsewhere. Why ? I believe they do not slide forwards and backwards, as most seats do. You may not care. Maintaining the seat, or having it maintained, may not be an easy task. These vehicles probably carry a premium price, as they are rare. Is the 114k odometer reading miles or kilometres ? Does the speedometer read mph or kph ? As the seller does not even know what year the vehicle was made; I would be extremely cautious. Have them send you a copy of the auction sheet, which is a legal requirement for the vehicle to be exported from Japan. Personally, I would not by a vehicle like this without seeing, driving, and having it inspected by an independent mechanic. Links are generally OK, but I am going to review the seller and send you a private message. Smaller diameter steering wheel ? Hhmm ? The driver's airbag is in the steering wheel. Despite all the other airbags you may have; going with that option would need extremely detailed research! NOW IF YOU ARE WILLING TO DRIVE TO COVENTRY NEXT WEEKEND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO VIEW ABOUT 100, ALL IN ONE PLACE, ALL AT THE SAME TIME. The club annual meeting is taking place. There is a thread about it on this Forum.

Oh dear Helen. Was it your only key ? Getting another one is probably quite easy. Getting it cut, to match your ignition lock, perhaps not as, I assume, you have no spare. If you do have a spare, panic not. Is the vehicle at home, or are you stranded ? Either way, an auto locksmith may initially be your best course of action. I can think of at least two expert members, and probably many more, who, I hope will respond to your crisis asap. But it may take a day or two for them to read your thread and respond. Another course of action maybe to contact your local converter for their help if possible. I'll send you a Personal Message with their details

I have a top of the range, Gen 1 facelift, with all the mod cons. It has tilt steering but not 'telescopic' as you call it. Maybe the Gen 2 models do. but I doubt it; but try one of those. I would strongly advise against modifying the mounting, or remounting, the seat further back. Safety being the issue, and, maybe, Insurance and MOT issues.

Peep-peep annoying noise from fridge area
Rojie replied to Nella's topic in Toyota Alphard Club Forum (2002 - 2008)
Hello Helen, What type of fridge do you have ? JPNZ Owners Manuals, in English, are usually available on ebay. One of the members was selling one recently. They are not Maintenance Manuals; if that is what you are looking for. Tyre pressures are 230kPa or 2.3kg/cm2; 32 to 33 psi. -

Annual Club Meet - July 2nd 2023 - British Motor Museum
Rojie replied to Trevor's topic in Alphard & Vellfire Club Events
I'll get in touch with them. Thank you -
I don't have a solar set up, and cannot advise on upgrading to an AGM. If you do you will need a specialist charger, and the charging time will be longer than a wet battery. You need to confirm your current battery is OK, or not. If you have the space, larger lead acid batteries are available. I would isolate the battery and try to charge it again. If that fails, it may be time for a new one !

Rojie replied to Trevor's topic in Alphard & Vellfire Club Events
Back a while, I tried to have a 'proper' registration plate made with my member name. Unfortunately, because it is a legitimate registration number no-one would make it without a V5; which I don't have. I could have gone offshore to get one made but I didn't. -
Removing the seats ready for conversion
Rojie replied to rolling-slab's topic in Toyota Alphard Camper Discussions
OK, side conversion then; you didn't mention that. If you are doing this all yourself be very, very, careful with any front seat modifications. In the case of an accident that seat needs to remain exactly where it is supposed to be ! Have you ever seen an Aplhie stripped of its innards ? As you say, they are no van. Rather a mobile executive lounge; hence their popularity. They are much more complicated that they appear. Good Luck, you may need it. -
Removing the seats ready for conversion
Rojie replied to rolling-slab's topic in Toyota Alphard Camper Discussions
What would be your plan for the front seat ? Fit it in the middle ? Junk it ? If you junk it you will have seat runners where you don't want them My guess is, and it is a guess, is you won't be able to do it. Furthermore, your middle row seat will have a lap belt, and your front seat will have a three point arrangement. These would need to be fully functional or Mr MOT might not be too pleased. My advice, if you are committed to a front swivel is get in touch with NorthStar Conversions; they know what they are doing. Your other option, of course, is to ask your convertor what they can/will/could do.
