first things first get the battery checked as it may be a dead battery a alphard needs a good battery as there is a lot of electrics so get that done first and let us know how you get on if rac tried to charge from there van and battery no good it wont crank

Hello max before you start messing with things I say this fault was known by the person you bought it off you say new battery been fitted the battery is a cheap lion battery supplied by Europe car parts they are cheap basic batteries . It’s illegal to sell any car sold as seen you got rights I personally get the person who you bought off to put things right or get your money back citizens advice will tell you your rights
