  1. Why don't you take the advice of members ? Try Transport for London, I would be very surprised if they don't have it listed. Or just drive into London ! You will soon find out. What is your registration ? Send it by Personal Mail if you are unhappy going public with it.
  2. I have yet to see one mentioned on this forum. Good Luck. Let us all know if you find one.
  3. Hello Andy, Welcome to the Forum.
  4. Chris.ac is a good source for wiring diagrams. I believe a solution for this has been provided previously (not necessarily by Chris. I respectfully suggest you search in the search box on your home page. Or search through Chris's threads; but there are quite a few ! Hopefully Chris will rea this and respond to you.
  5. Google them ! Heathrow.
  6. Hi. Looks like my van, which has not been lowered. 'Touch wood' I haven't grounded mine yet. That front facing (blind spot) camera, when selected for front kerbs, is well worth using if you have the camera system fitted to your model.
  7. Please include a photo of your 'bodykit'.
  8. MPV Japanese Specialists. They have, or had, a 2007 (unconverted) in white. Be careful, as I think it has been lowered. You would need to check. My MZ G is converted, I am tempted to buy another one that has not been converted.
  9. IMHO, lowering can frequently improve the appearance of a vehicle. However, in my limited experience, it always hardens the ride; sometimes improving the 'handling, often having the opposite effect. Unless wheel arch clearances are maintained, especially under dynamic conditions, your tyres and bodywork could become very 'intimate' For me? I use my van as a cruiser, not a hot rod, and value the ride as developed by Toyota. A few of Alphards have electronically selectable suspension (HI TEMS) that alters the ride (not the ride height). I have it on my machine MZ G Edition. Two settings are available Comfort, and Sport What is it like ? Don't know, I never used it. I have always had it set on Comfort.
  10. Hello Jamie, Welcome to the Forum.
  11. Hello Greg. Is your van a Gen 1 or a Gen 1 facelift ? Either way try the TfL website. (Transport for London).
  12. Hello Paul, Welcome to the Forum. Insurance is such a personal thing. However, there is thread covering this topic, but not the groupings. You will probably find that quotes vary quite wildly; and it is an ever changing market. Regarding a quote for you, there should not be much difference between these two engines. Get an AA or RAC report on the van before making any financial commitments (if you have not bought already).
  13. Hi Pcous, I tried the link; I try all links. Their website would not take my registration number. I tried to enter my details manually and was offered a 2002 screen; and only a 2002 screen ! Could be the same; but then if I had a Gen 2 or Gen 3, are they the same ? Not impressed really. Autoglass, so far, have been wonderful.
  14. Thanks Chris, I don't need the info, but other members will. A sincere Thank You for all your valuable contributions to this (unofficial) knowledge base
  15. Hello Lee, Welcome to the Forum. We all hope it goes well for you, and that soon you will be able to recommend JVS to other members.
  16. Hi Lee, Who fitted the new windscreen ?
  17. Hello Sam, Welcome to the Forum. Try Northstar Cowes, IOW.
  18. Hi Chris, FYI. This first file did no load for me, on my PC running Win 10
  19. Hello Tim, Welcome to the Forum. Sorry, do you mean middle or rear ? My comment refers to middle seats. But if you do ... Only four bolts secure the seat to the seat rails. Be careful removing the blanking plates
  20. I spoke too soon ! I have a large crack. Courtesy of a lorry on the M5. I will update members when the process is completed. I believe my Insurance will cover it. I do hope so, as the quote I received was EYE WATERING. Supply and fit; but way, way, way more than the reported by Lee above.
  21. Just a small point. Generally speaking. Chains don't last forever, despite some Toyota engines doing so. Chain tensioners tend to have a shorter life than chains and engines. I need to research whether the 2.4 litre engine is a non interference design.
  22. As Kay says. Northstar certainly do for the non Hybrid. So it would not surprise me that they can relocate the necessary obstructions to enable one to be fitted. However, they will not sell you the seat. They will only supply and fit. Quite reasonable, imho, considering the safety issues. Northstar are a very good company, but they are not cheap !
  23. Hello Kay, Welcome to the Forum.
  24. Chris.ac posted a very useful thread on this topic. I suggest you search through all his postings (there are a lot) to find it.
  25. beanbean280r on eBay. Cannot find his 'name' on the forum, sorry.
