  1. Mileage Correction ? Do you mean converting from km/hr to mph ?
  2. Hello Kate, Welcome to the Forum. The information you need is available on this Forum. It may take you a while to find it using the search box on your home page.
  3. Send a PM to Picasso with your VIN or registraion number
  4. Hello Owen, Welcome to the Forum.
  5. Yours is the first Vellfire model available, in 2008. Although Alphards were available before then .
  6. Hello Farooq, Welcome to the Forum. Close all the doors and buckle up the set belts ! Do the red lights go out ?
  7. You could try and bleed the brakes to see if that improves the 'feel'. You could consider changing the front pads for ones known to be OEM. I believe some owners fit improved brake hoses too. Good Luck
  8. I think your brakes need bleeding. Have you had the rear bushes replaced lately. If so, take your van to the repair shop and have them bleed the brakes (again).
  9. As Picasso says, it does sound as your battery was disconnected briefly. Ensure your battery is fully charged too
  10. If you just bought recently from a dealer, take it back to them and request they resolve the issue. Act now, not later. Sadly, I can't advise on who can look at it. See later ! I have an older model. Before spending on 'repairs' I would try, again, to ascertain what mileage you are actually getting. If your consumption, ignoring the dash reading, is 'normal', maybe you should consider ignoring the dash reading. Do you have any warning lights on the dash ? Call Japanese MPV Specialists, in Uxbridge, ask if they could take a 'quick look'.
  11. I don't feel confident in recommending any 'fitters'of Head Units, except Ben Hau. To be clear, I am NOT suggesting any other fitters are not entirely capable; just that I wouldn't know if they are, or not. I have no intention of 'upgrading / replacing' my head unit, so it is not an area of knowledge that I have. I do know that many installations are entirely successful, whereas some, regrettably, are not. My main use is the camera the facilities. I use a PC (with CD/DVD) and Bose for 'entertainment'. We have some esteemed members who are far more experienced in this arena than I. Hopefully they can make some suggestions for you.
  12. Fill up test. Record mileage/kilometer reading. Fill tank. Run to about a quarter full. Record odometer again. Fill tank. Consumption is distance covered divided by fuel used. This, of course, assumes your odometer records distance correctly ! And is, of course, an average; you may need to consider your driving style and traffic too and 'adjust' accordingly. But, it provides a benchmark.
  13. I think your electronics are suspect and suspect you probably get a better mileage.
  14. 185/37 is 5. 5m / l is 22.5 mpg. Not seriuously bad, depending on traffic and driving style.
  15. Hello Jimmy, Welcome to the Forum. Has you battery been disconnected ?
  16. Hello Andy, Welcome to the Forum. There are many of us that share your reluctance !
  17. A Job's worth situation !
  18. Hello Khurram, Welcome to the Forum.
  19. There is a long thread on this topic. There are several opinions. Some say yes others say no ! Some members report E5 gives better economy, even factoring the cost. Others dispute this. Me? I run E5 unless not available. Search for E5 or E10 in this Forum.
  20. Have you verified that the reading is probably accurate ? The fill up test ? Or that the van is a gas guzzler, or has suspect electronics.
  21. lLots of space, but handles like a tram
