  1. I think Chris.ac put up a diagram of this on the Forum. Suggest you search his content; there is rather a lot !
  2. Hello Lester, Welcome to the Forum.
  3. I was under the impression that the 042 colour is a standard Toyota colour. Check with a main dealer. As aerosols are a pressurised product, shipping through normal postal channels can be problematic.
  4. The model type should be on the passenger side B pillar. It forms part of the VIN number. I'll check my purchasing records for the blackout blind. I have it quite a while. Please note. My Alphard is older than yours, so check the suitability for your model.
  5. Hello Mike, Welcome to the Forum. 2). Should be a Gen 2. Post a photo for confirmation, or provide the model number. 3). I have a Black Out blind which excels for that purpose. It covers the screen, and both front doors. It is robust. It is very easy to fit and remove. It does not have any mesh openings
  6. What a shame, but understandable. However, there is an ever increasing thread on this forum listing where members can get their vehicles serviced. As Larry points out, locating servicing may not be straightforward, but members should ask their local Toyota Official dealer. Most will not, as Larry highlights, work on your vehicle, but some will, so it's worth a phone call. Accordingly, it is advisable, before purchase, to ensure you have a source for servicing. Buyers should also establish whether the selling dealer has on site servicing facilities. Many do not. That may be an important point to consider before the purchase decision is made.
  7. Hell Brendan, Welcome to the Forum. There is a thread on this forum where members list garages that will work on Alphards/Vellfires. Go to the Forums section and take a look at Servicing.
  8. Hello Abigayle, Welcome to the Forum, Where in Devon are you located ? Is your machine a 2010, or a 2008 or earlier ? Looks like 2010, in which case I could change your vehicle type in your profile
  9. 101. Well done Trevor, and Steve. Sadly, I cannot attend. I WISH ALL MEMBERS A SAFE JOURNEY TO, AND FROM, THE 2023 MEET, and an enjoyable meet while there.
  10. Ian. 042 is the official colour ? (Pearl White). It is declared on your VIN plate number, which is on the passenger side B pillar. It is not exclusive to your Alphie. Should be available from any official Toyota dealer (and other sources but perhaps ebay is best avoided).
  11. Hello Chris, Welcome to the Forum.
  12. Hello Lev, Welcome to the Forum. As far as I am aware, the first year is not different. There is a long thread on this Forum regarding fuel consumption. Try searching E5 E10.
  13. Ben's mobile is on the Forum somewhere. Search for Ben Hau or Radio Replacement He is difficult to contact. Looks like you may have an Xtrons unit fitted.
  14. Hi Phil, Welcome to the Forum. Regarding the tracking; your wheel tyre combination does not look standard; just to complicate things even more. Ben Hau in Birmingham is the go to guy for Android upgrades.
  15. Amina, The Alphard and Vellfire are the same vehicle. But there are detail differences. What parts are you looking for ? General service part numbers are available in the service section. Do you know your model number ? If you can send a Private Message to Picasso, and list the parts you need, and your registration, he will probably be able to give you the part numbers. To enable us all to help you, you need to be much more specific in specifying your needs. You could try Toyota/Alphard/epc.com; but you will need to be proficient at reading vehicle drawings. Did you contact Gibbs Automotive again yet; as I suggested ? However, don't expect them to have all the parts in stock !
  16. If you still have no luck, contact me and I will send you the owners name.
  17. Hello Amina, You should contact Gibbs Automotive again. A member has been in contact with the owner of Gibbs Automotive on your behalf. The owner has confirmed that they do work on Toyota Alphards.
  18. I'll follow this up
  19. You could try Toyota/Alphard/ EPC.com and enter your model number.
  20. Picasso has previously recommended Gibbs Automotive
  21. Hello Chris, Welcome to the Forum.
  22. Hi Andy, I believe I have read reference to a Gen 1 facelift fitted with Captains seats (a 7 seater) that rotate. These are not the foot rest version of the seats. However, I have never seen any of these seats, so either they are very rare, or don't exist.
  23. OK Colin, YOU MUST READ THE LAST LINE OF THIS First off, it does not have a 2016 registration. It has 2006, and that is because it is a 2006 vehicle. It appears to be a Gen 1 facelift, with a 4 speed gearbox. It also appears to have a nearside middle row seat that probably comes out of the vehicle to assist with ingress for a disabled person. If it is one, they are known as Welcab seats. this could be really, really helpful. If you intend to use the vehicle for a travelling with a disabled passenger, ENSURE the seat operates as it should. If you do not intend to use it as such it may be better to look elsewhere. Why ? I believe they do not slide forwards and backwards, as most seats do. You may not care. Maintaining the seat, or having it maintained, may not be an easy task. These vehicles probably carry a premium price, as they are rare. Is the 114k odometer reading miles or kilometres ? Does the speedometer read mph or kph ? As the seller does not even know what year the vehicle was made; I would be extremely cautious. Have them send you a copy of the auction sheet, which is a legal requirement for the vehicle to be exported from Japan. Personally, I would not by a vehicle like this without seeing, driving, and having it inspected by an independent mechanic. Links are generally OK, but I am going to review the seller and send you a private message. Smaller diameter steering wheel ? Hhmm ? The driver's airbag is in the steering wheel. Despite all the other airbags you may have; going with that option would need extremely detailed research! NOW IF YOU ARE WILLING TO DRIVE TO COVENTRY NEXT WEEKEND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO VIEW ABOUT 100, ALL IN ONE PLACE, ALL AT THE SAME TIME. The club annual meeting is taking place. There is a thread about it on this Forum.
  24. If it is 2008 or later, the Gen 2 model, it may have steering reach adjustment. There are times when I wish mine did; but it doesn't.
