  1. If not, They should be available on ebay, but they will cost more.
  2. Probably a red herring but ensure your starter battery is fully charged at all times. Could be a vapour lock, but I don't know how you go about tracing that. Can you hear the fuel pump prime when you switch the ignition on ?
  3. Techstream is the go to product for OBD work, but ... I don't think it s operable on the very early Gen 1 vehicles
  4. Hello, Possibly excess friction in engine due to cold temperatures. It is not unusual for a pressure differential to form in fuel tanks on many vehicles.
  5. You are correct. Well done for researching it well.
  6. Thank you very much. I'll get some and give it a try.
  7. Hello Jason, Welcome to the Forum.
  8. Sorry. I did not think you were. He has other useful videos on YouTube that I thought members may choose to view for awareness.
  9. This is cuttothechase
  10. Hello Barry, Welcome to the Forum.
  11. Hello Mandy, Welcome to the Forum. Why do you need to know the emissions ? A 2007 vehicle should be ULEZ compliant if that is the reason for your question. You can type the registration number into the TfL website if you wish to check; I would. ps. Are you sure the vehicle is 2007 ?
  12. Can you please provide details of the 'dry lubricant' you used siuccessfully ?
  13. Radio Active vehicles cannot be exported !!
  14. You probably know this. The VIN number is on the Auction Sheet.
  15. Buying some seats ? Are you considering fitting Gen 1 seats to a Gen 2 vehicle ? Is your vehicle a 7 or 8 seater ? How many seat rails do you have across the middle row? There is no link or article; just detailed personal research. Can you PM me the details of what you are trying to achieve. What seats you have, or will have. Whether you expect the middle seats to slide when reversed ? I assume your van is not a conversion.
  16. Hi Fiaraz, Do your middle seats have lap belts ? If not, reversing the seats would mean they could not be used for travelling. Since the three point seat belts cannot be used, the vehicle will fail the MOT. I believe the Gen 2 does not come with 8 seats, so at least the seat rails should be in the correct position. I have a Gen 1 vehicle and explored this idea, in detail, and there are other difficulties too. If you do have lap belts, then it may be feasible, but is not a simple as you may think.
  17. Please watch the cuttothechase on YouTube video first; I believe the method (from my aged memory) does not involve the rear door card.
  18. I assume you have arear conversion. cuttuthechase has a video on YouTube regarding opening the rear door. I vaguely remember his method works for rear conversion too as with the rear conversion you cannot remove the panel without opening the door ! Good luck
  19. Hello Jan, Welcome to the Forum.
  20. So sorry to hear of your plight. In order to advertise your vehicle For Sale in the Forum you MUST provide the information specified in the adjacent section. Failure to do so will result in your advert being deleted from the Forum ! Sorry, but those are the Rules of Sale.
  21. If your struts are making squeaking noises they may be on their way out. Are the rods very smooth ? I have lubricated my struts with fine oil to improve the smoothness of operation; but it made no noticeable difference ! I also greased the tail gate pivot points with auto grease ( the type used for the door hinges). It may little difference, my tailgate is not as smooth as I would like. Toyota quoted me 200 UKP each for the struts. I have not yet made the plunge as it may be the tailgate motor needs an overhaul ! I have a rear conversion which makes access to the motor rather tricky. Get yourself an Owners Manual, they are published by JPNZ.
  22. I doubt any other fuel tank will fit. Space is pretty tight everywhere in these machines.
  23. Which company have you chosen for conversion ? Please PM me if you don't wish to go public with their name.
  24. Hello Mark, Welcome to the Forum. Sorry to hear of your encounter. You could try Jap Auto Spares, or if you have the part numbers Toyota Direct. If you send a PM to to picasso with your vin or registration number, he will provide you with the parts numbers.
  25. Picasso is a very valued leading member of The Alphard Club. As Lee suggests, send your registration or vin number to him via a Personal Message. It is a secure system.
