  1. Hello Jap, Welcome to the Forum.
  2. I believe you need a 95.
  3. Hello Stephen, Welcome to the Forum. What do you mean by choice of tyres ? Brands ? Sizes ? Tread patterns ? I can tell you the OEM size, if you tell me the model you have ? AS, AX etc.
  4. Hello Tim, Welcome to the Forum.
  5. My reply was intended to clarify and inform other readers; not yourself. I habitually recommend the JPNZ Owner Manual to all members.
  6. JPNZ Owners Manual. there are two versions, one includes the hybrid, the other does not. Neither are Maintenance Manuals.
  7. Hello Nicola, Welcome to the Forum. Can I suggest you buy a dog hammock and rig it across the front seats ? Small mattress under or cot over it ! You'll need a (external) windscreen cover to provide shade for him.
  8. Sorry, just realised, mine's (was) a 7 seater ! So probably cannot help.
  9. Hi Graeme, Same model as me ! I am unable to understand your problem ! Is your drivers seat electric ? I run a different configuration now, but do not remember any issues before. It was 'tight' and headrests needed to be removed before sleep time. can yoy PM me a photo of the seating in sleep mode, please ?
  10. Hi Graeme, I see you have the Generation 1 model. Is it the facelifted model or the earlier one ? I ask as2005 was the changeover year.
  11. Hello John, Welcome to the Forum.
  12. Interesting. I have two vehicles already with Aviva; I need to try them again.
  13. Hi John, If your machine is a 20 series, can you please change your profile to reflect that. Or, I can do it for you. Currently, you seem to have a facelifted Generation 1 (Series 10.
  14. This is a reply Monster S gave to another member is it a hybrid? the only true way is to take it into a mot centre and get them to run an emissions test for you. As far as I am aware, you will need headlight deflectors AND I would turn off the AFS , if you have it.
  15. As a resident of Devon, you pose an interesting question. East side of London travellers tend to prefer the A303 North and west side the M5. Much of the A303 is dual carriageway, however some is not, as at Stonehenge; which can be very slow When at Exeter, you need to chose Okehampton or Plymouth. The road to the far west of Cornwall has been improved immensely in recent years. Depends on your scenic preferences and day and time of your proposed journey. AA Route Planner offers expected journey times, as do most Sat Navs. Safe Journey. Me ? M5
  16. That appears to be the correct size for the AS model
  17. There are tyre / wheel sizing websites on the internet. I haven't checked yours above. Something to watch out for is the tyre width. So, for example only, 255 is 1.5 inches wider than 205. With any given offset (also important not to change) that will reduce both body to tyre clearance and chassis to tyre clearance by3/4 inch. The wheel arch and suspension clearances (to the wheel/tyre) under dynamic conditions can alter dramatically; cannot realistically be measured. Changing the type profile will affect your speedo, but, imho, increasing the overall diameter of the wheel tyre combination can exacerbate the clearance issue and is far more important There are many correct and 'safe' combinations (if done properly) and even more that are not ! Lowering the tyre profile will, generally, lower the vehicle and increase ride stiffness; unless the rim is increased. Complicated. Yes. Which is why these tyre wheel models are so helpful in maintaining safety. AND, to be pedantic, fitting non-'standard' tyre /wheel combinations is a Modification as far as insurance companies are concerned ! Unless changes are radical I would not expect the overall gearing to be changed. Rolling resistance will be, so that will affect economy; I have no idea by how much. Minor, I expect. Make sure any model you use includes changes to the clearances. They are there for a reason.
  18. Aviva covered my Alphie, until it was converted; they didn't cancel but told me to find someone else ! Very strange that Aviva underwrite Comfort Insurance. But then, the market is changing constantly.

    What colour !

Hello Renates, Welcome to the Forum.
  21. Just follow the negative battery lead until it is attached to the body. As you friend says, check both ends too. You may want to consider a 'better' negative connector. Mine is showing signs of age !
  22. Leave the children at home !
  23. Rojie replied to ERNEY's topic in Servicing
There is a list of common service part numbers. Check the servicing section
  24. Hi Robert, I have a similar model to yours. I think your 'bulbs' have already been replaced if they are LEDs. I needed to replace one of mine, and is was definitely not a LED. I know that LED replacements are available, and probably brighter and more reliable. So you would probably need to replace all of them to achieve an even brightness !
  25. Hello Kenneth, Welcome to the Forum. Lucky you, having such a new Alphie. On the older models there is a chip change that achieves it. On a model as new as this, many of us would not know ! Sorry. Good Luck.
