  6. I had my windscreen changed just before Christmas I sourced the screen myself direct from toyota just over 3 weeks £420.00+ vat insurance company paid me back
  7. If gearbox has not been filled with correct oil this will cause gear change problems also if not filled the correct amount . There is also solenoids in where the filter is if these are faulty this can cause problems .
  8. Thank you Chris rac came out they said they could had fixed it but they did not have a t piece so I guess if they could do it must be simple to do .
  9. My alphard 3.0 broke down over the weekend a plastic t piece connector from the heater matrix snapped leaking coolant everywhere has this happened to anyone else .I just want to know if anyone else had same problem and how easy is it to fix

Hi you have lowered suspension it's not the case of replacing the shock you will need to replace both front shocks and springs top mounts and the rear springs and shocks to put it back to standard suspension lot of these alphards are lowered in Japan. Front Shocks are only avaliable genuine from toyota springs you can buy new on ebay to replace everything just parts your looking about £1200.

  12. You say you had the gear box rebuilt have you had the torque converter checked when gear box was off as automatics don't have a clutch and it's done by the torque converter could he had taken this off and not tightened it back up correctly.
  13. Worth getting the front drive shafts checked if these are out of balance such as cv joints with play in them

I just recently got my 3.0 lpg conversion registered on my v5 log book to do this you have to send the receipt you was given when paying for the conversion and a letter headed note with the converters business name and address on . Now my details show as. Gas-bi fuel. All documents have to be originals and not photo copies .

  16. Strange that if its same dudley trader as where I got mine from last November stuart spencer autos he converts them in to the rear brake light for it to pass mot .

  18. A lot of insurance will allow you to use good second-hand parts if new parts are not available

Really sorry to see this happen to you . you will be able to get most parts through your local toyota dealer if I was you get a price for all the parts then tell your insurance company they won't write it off if you want tell me what parts you want and your vin number I will give you all the correct part no.s to give toyota .
  20. You have definitely blown a fuse there are 4 fuse boxes on the alphard your going to have to check all your fuses if you have a English owners handbook it will tell your fuse locations I hope you get it sorted .
