  1. I Can only say as i find that is Lee at Jap Auto parts their service are as good as any Japanese parts supplier and probably better than most and their prices are completive
  2. Please clarify as according to google E-Hybrid is not a company but a description of a type of vehicle. so, any ideals where you purchased your battery?
  3. Go to your local Camping store and find their selection of self inflating air mattresses, that's where I found ours (80.0mm thick) when inflated, wife and I have stored the sheets and now use a double sleeping bag on top of the air mattress...if you decide to opp for this system don't buy a cheap airbag ! I think you should be able to lay flat the mattress and sleeping bag within the pop-top fold.
  4. You should find in the topics /posts on this site's forums most of the guidance you need, what you must do is keep in mind what the costs involved yours is a series one Alphard and some parts are now no longer available from Toyota, service parts are available but mostly manufactured by the Chinese also bear in mind that a fully converted series one Alphard with Pop-top roof are currently available under £22,500 there's always an abundance advertised within Google and Ebay North Star conversions (isle of White) comes to mind, also there are several campervan convertors in Somerset and Dorset.
  5. In this case 'Factors' roof rack would mean to me as a part that was not designed and manufactured by the originator of the part, in this case Toyota.
  6. I would have thought if this rail is fitted to both sides of the roof, they would surely have been for a 'factors' roof rack support?
  7. Without wishing to sound condescending I feel really sorry for the folks who bought the 2.4 versions of the Alphard as this engine version is well-known to be underpowered and suffers with high failure rate particularly in countries like Australia and New Zealand where they sell in abundance, how do I know this ? Because relatives of ours live in Sydney. Can I ask if anyone has thought about purchasing some sort of maintenance/repair Warranty, I can't help Suzilize but my advice to her if possible is to purchase a low mileage or reworked engine from a reputable car engineering firm
  8. HI This topic has been covered recently .........briefly, the problem is normally the drain tubes in the corners of the sunroofs once you have found these the best way to clear them is by an air gun, you probably don't possess this equipment but your local garage does.
  9. I fitted two last year, remarkable Dab results!
  10. Alpine, Pioneer ( there own) and other sofisticated car head units will normally advise the roof type 'FIN' units for Dab insulation yes their expensive but very low key on an already high'ish roofEXAMPLE
  11. sorry to say but it seems any parts that are not service parts are pretty expensive and not original Manufacture's source I should have learnt my lesson after owning two bongos
  12. get your overhauls on, buy your spray can of underbody protection from Halfords and start work, if you are unable to do that visit your friendly garage enquire if they would do the work on an agreed price you dont need so called underbody sealant specialists
  13. only issue is how long has this boot not being able to stop the crudd entering the joint...personally I would change the complete arm
  14. Thanks I do know that ! the photo's were posted correctly as per the advice some months ago and were displayed correctly however thats not the case now

  16. I fitted a Alpine head unit plays all speakers has IGo stat nav, plus Apple and Android phone link, will run three cameras, HDMI, etc etc never seen this level of sophistcation in units sold in Halfords but their pricing structure is for mid range units nothing wrong with that but have a look a car radio shops
  17. 2005 North Star side conversion, R&R 48" BED, 13PIN/Tow Bar, AlpineStat Nav media head unit with two camera's, Two roof sun roofs, Powered side doors, 2019 19"alloy wheels/tyres There should be photos in the photo gallery but I am unable to find them perhaps ROJIE can assist? Contact : taylor.larry@gmail.com
  18. sounds like an low oil problem in the auto transmission but the old fashion similar issue could be broken engine/mission mountings
  19. When I was in the trade I never saw a MOT tech' look at fixture's of headlights only the display of the beams, I have done two within the last eighteen months no one has advised me of Failures, sorry no pictures..if you want a more substantial fixing make up a template with stiff carboard (old kellogges box) is ideal, if you have no equipment to bend your alloy shape take your template to a precision metal engineers I would be supprised if they charged you more than a fiver!
  20. problem is that the bracket is not aligned correctly to the top body of the headlight luss causing the bracket to be stressed when riding over rough road etc, cheap solution is remove broken bracket ends leave screws in place but not loose ( screw thread lock does help) fit two small tie straps across the screw fitting pulling them till there's resistance job done!
  21. two minutes to find this: https://www.bak-rak.com/spare-wheel-rak.htm Bit of old advice make sure your 'Browser' enquiry is descriptive and you should find what you need🙂
  22. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I did the same several months ago but used the commercial 3M double sided tape basically same tape thats been used by the Caravan/Marine industry for many years also made up a flexible small section of the Keder rail that can be used as an extension to the main Keder rail if the 'Awning tunnel material' is found to be too wide for the fitted application
  23. SORRY iv'e broke my own rules as i'm Quoting you again but to finish I believe you might be referring to this : https://www.qualitycaravanawnings.com/collections/thule/products/thule-omnistor-1200-awning although the product is marketed under the Awnings section its actualy described as a sun Canopy🤐
  24. Great! Ive fitted four 'wind outs' two f45s one f40 and one Thule on different vehicles how many have you fitted ? (its obvious to me you and I will would never share technical niceties so lets just agree to avoid each other posts) !😥
