Fuel pump fuse.
Hi Barry, I hope someone else can be more helpful than me ! I have been through (my English ) manual. There seems to be (at least) five fuse boxes ! I checked the individual fuse listings and no fuses are explicitly designated as for the the fuel pump. I don't have a service manual to refer to. Sorry.

AWD OR NOT?
No. Do you have the auction sheet ? The model number is clearly visible in the middle of the second row.

AWD OR NOT?
First, try your auction sheet. Second, try your door frames; A post, but probably B post. Or engine bay somewhere ! The 'plate' should give you the model number, and lots of other stuff. Do you know your trim level ? It was a MZG wasn't it. Models numbers change with engine size and drive system. Is yours Gen 1 or 2. I think it was 1 from memory. If it has the 3 litre it is Gen 1.

Alphard 2003 3.0 V6 abnormal fuel consumption
Rereading this, it looks very wrong! But is lifted from the manual I have. I just checked the manual again. This IS what id says. Methinks it should be litres per 100km ! Sorry.

Alphard 2003 3.0 V6 abnormal fuel consumption
According to my handbook, it depends on which model you have. The M series is quoted as 8.9 lt per km, whereas The A series is quoted as 9.4 lt per km. These figures, I assume, are average consumption (in Japan, if that makes a difference, altitude, traffic density, etc). I have not had my M series long enough to suggest what mileage you should get.

Which 2008 Alphard do you have ? 2005 to 2008 or the 2008 onwards. They are on ebay. Tell me the model and I'll tell you the supplier. Odessycarpets certainly do the 2005 to 2008 (and probably the latter model) as I have written to them to confirm it Another company does the 2008 on Send me a PM and I can try and forward hid details

AWD OR NOT?
The model number will tell you. The model numbers look like ANH10, or similar. Your auction sheet should have it listed on there. If your model has a 15 in it, it is 4WD, eg. ANH15.

There are lots of threads that discuss the E10 fuel issue. I respectfully suggest you search this site to help you decide whether you need to do anything, and, if so, what.

Hello both, Are you talking side awning, or tail gate awning ?

No. No yellowing on the headlights that I have noticed. I have another car that does have yellowing/grimy headlights. Many older cars suffer from this problem. There are many products (polishes) on the market that are designed to combat this ageing process, and many local garages will grind and polish for you. I am reluctant to do my other car as the headlights are £800 a side. Costly if I get it wrong ! Good luck.

MZ-G EDITION
It is scheduled for a Campervan rear conversion soon, a rather special one (in my mind). Nothing too special about the cabinetry; but will be real wood veneer. The panels are special order only. The maple veneer should look fantastic when completed, sealed and polished. Other 'improvements' are in the planning stages. Objective is to have a very visually stunning interior whilst creating an extremely comfortable functioning unit. The rear leather seats, after removal, will be used to provide other leather based upgrades. The van will look totally stock/standard from the outside. Whole van was rated 3.5 for the auction, now much better, probably 4.5; but still has a very minor nudge or two on the outside. I feel sure it will get some more as soon as we start travelling. It is already 15 years old. Where are you in London, I have family there that I visit from time to time.

Thanks for your glowing appraisal. Looks like a manual, but isn't. All the 'wood' panels match in colour and grain size. So .... My guess is the options, if they are options, were fitted at the time of the original purchase. Either by the factory, as factory options, or by the Distributor as a differentiator to distinguish their product from that of their rival distributor. You probably know that the G and V variants are very similar, but as they are sold via different distribution channels they can have these different options fitted. I have no idea how you would source the 'extra' wood panels, or the CD/DVD console. The gear shift should be quite easy to do; but I didn't do mine, it came like that. I have BIG plans for my Alph, which I may publish after they have been achieved; certainly not before then. Good Luck with your Quest.
