  1. This depends on where the Toyota engine was made. Japanese made engines should not be an issue. American made engines ?
  2. Contact the seller Asl about a hidden switch.
  3. DRL should be wired through the ignition switch; but usually run whenever the igntion is on. Are you suggesting yours do not switch off when the ignition is off ?
  4. Can I suggest a cheap and simple method ? Get a laptop and feed it an HDMI signal. You will need a digital TV signal though.
  5. What size are your wheel tyre combiantions ? There are websites which will compute dimensional changes for all options you may be able to consider. Will It Fit is one that comes to mind. Has you van been lowered or heightened ?
  6. Camper conversion does not make any difference to road tax, insurance may be more tricky though. Road tax is about £330 from memory. Rather than worrying about road tax, ensure you have somewhere to get your vehicle serviced. Do not assume Toyota dealers will. Check before you buy. You may also have ULEZ issues with an 04 plate. Check the registration with TfL (Transport for London) and check on any ULEZ requirements in any local cities near you.
  7. Do you have space under the passenger seat ? Plenty of room brhind the third row of seats, just need to make sure it is truly secure to the floor. Leisure batteries are not normally of the wet type.
  8. A leisure battery will achieve this. You will need a spilt charging relay unit to keep both batteries charged. Leisure batteries are common in camper conversions.
  9. Hello Mark, Welcome to the Forum
  10. OBD2 Connector ? Picasso or Chris.ac will know; along with many others.
  11. Could it be dash panel illumination intensity ?
  12. I have a Gen 1 facelift. Autoglass fitted a new screen, took about three weeks. Fortunately covered by my insurance otherwise the cost would have been very expensive.
  13. If yours is a Hybrid you need to change your vehicle in your profile.
  14. The JPNZ fuse list explains where fuses are, what they protect, and their rating. So, in your case, the list was of no use.
  15. Ask Tanya Batteries; they do a mail order service; very professional packing and delivery too.
  16. Toyota Alphards For Sale (Private Sales)
  17. Cruise control is very expensive to fit to a Gen 1 Alphie. Quite cheap to retro fit to the Gen 1 facelift. All this is covered elsewhere on the forum. Lots of reading for you to do !
  18. Hello Lucas, Welcome to the Forum.
  19. Leather seat covers are available from Alibaba and/or AliExpress. Be careful; some will fit well, others won't ! Search this forum as I believe this was covered some time ago. If you just need protection good fit will not matter too much. If you require excellent fit, a la OEM, then the challange begins.
  20. Hi Jim, I have absoutely no idea. I was tempted to answer your original question by "Very carefully". Inherently totally unhelpful though. My guess is that Chris.ac and/or Picasso are the most likely to be able to answer your query. Please be patient to give all members time to rsepond
  21. Checking te JPNZ fuse lists and locations; the sonar and rear camera are not specifically mentioned !
  22. Hello Darryn, Welcome to the Forum. ps Most of us have a Japanese lady speaking to us !
  23. I believe 'Barnstaple' can supply most of your needs. Check them out. Google search should do it. They are generic, not just Alphies.
  24. What is the beginning of the VIN ? ANH 10, or 20 ? It is on the B pillar nearside.
  25. Quite reasonable. Living where you do make sute you have it undersealed.
