I spoke too soon ! I have a large crack. Courtesy of a lorry on the M5. I will update members when the process is completed. I believe my Insurance will cover it. I do hope so, as the quote I received was EYE WATERING. Supply and fit; but way, way, way more than the reported by Lee above.

Just a small point. Generally speaking. Chains don't last forever, despite some Toyota engines doing so. Chain tensioners tend to have a shorter life than chains and engines. I need to research whether the 2.4 litre engine is a non interference design.

As Kay says. Northstar certainly do for the non Hybrid. So it would not surprise me that they can relocate the necessary obstructions to enable one to be fitted. However, they will not sell you the seat. They will only supply and fit. Quite reasonable, imho, considering the safety issues. Northstar are a very good company, but they are not cheap !

We sleep our heads at the drivers end. We have a PC / TV on the kitchen worktop when parked up in the evenings. We have small mattresses that fold and fit under the table when en route. We use our day cushions to even out the dip. It's OK, but I have seen a stowable frame that fits on the seats and levels the bed out. I may get one but am worried about stretching the leather with the concentrated weight load. I also considered the type of cushions you seem to be referring to; wedged shaped for hospitals. I normally drive with the rear curtains closed, so i would store the wedges on the kitchen worktop.. Food for thought.

So I think you have the seats that can be reversed. A one seat amd a one and a half judging by your comments re the lap belt. I didn't think the Gen 2 comes with 8 seats but wasn't sure myself! Lap belts are legal, but, imho, a bit iffy in an accident; but way better than no belt. You luck in making your decision. Happy Alpharding.

Hello Huw, I have a different model so cannot help you there, but .. Why didn't you check for ISOFIX child seat latches on this second visit ? Why didn't you ask the vendor ? So, will you have a Gen 1 or Gen 2 vehicle ? 2008 was the changeover year. I assume you have a Gen 1 version. My answer only refers to the Gen 1 vehicle. According to my copy of the JPNZ Owners Manual (every Gen 1 owner should have one) both the eight seater and the seven seater have ISOFIX child seat latches. However, it appears that only the outer middle seats have the latches in the eight seater. You really need to physically check the vehicle you hope to purchase Take an ISOFIX child seat with you and observe it being fitted in all three middle seats. Good Luck.

18 sounds very low to me. There is a Megathread on this Forum where many owners have reported the mileages they have achieved. Certainly worth a read.

Sounds like it was time for a new battery. If you leisure battery is charging, and retaining its charge; all seems as it should be. Batteries do not respond well to being heavily discharged.
