  1. Hello Bob, Welcome to the Forum. Try searching this Forum. There is a thread that contains the part numbers for some of the serviceable parts. The info may be in a Megathread. The search box is on your home page; top rhs.
  2. Hi Barry, Make sure your battery is fully charged, and I mean fully. These cold mornings are battery charge killers
  3. No, sorry, I only have experience of reading threads on this forum ! As I said, it is a hassle, and some owners just give up I put your registration into TfL ULEZ checker and, unfortunately, the vehicle is chargeable.
  4. Hello William, Welcome to the Forum. I agree with Paul above; but I do have a vague recollection that Aphards up to 2005 aren't in the system. And getting yours certified by having it tested, and then recognised (or not) by DVLA, is quite a hassle. I hope I am wrong. Other members who have been through this process will advise you, I am sure.
  5. Hello Peter, Greetings from South Devon Yes, I do. You need to send me a personal message. Set out clearly what you are looking for.
  6. I can tell you the standard nut size for standard studs. But since you have changed your wheels they may not be suitable; and that could be dangerous. Some details about the wheels would be helpful !
  7. Hello peter, Welcome to the Forum
  8. I think it is quite easy but, Programming it isn't. There is a recent thread on here, try searching from your home page. May be worth trying a new smart fob battery before buying a new fob
  9. try searching the Forum. This was a recent topic. Search box if top rhs on your home page.
  10. As far as I can remember, the smart key key should work the front doors; the immobiliser key won't. I believe you can set the smart key (if you want to) to unlock the doors as you approach the vehicle without activating any smart key buttons. The immobiliser key is a mechanical key only; although it will open the sliding doors if they are electric.
  11. Which key did you replace ? The smart key of the immobiliser key ?
  12. Make sure the bicarb is fully dissolved.
  13. Thanks for this Chad. I took a quick look, and it's a subscription service; which is not for me. I would prefer a physical book, or a non time limited download for my PC. If I had an issue and needed technical help it might be a good choice. Lee, has been pursuing JPNZ now, for quite a while, to make available the official JPNZ Maintenance Manual for the Alphard but in English. As soon as it is available he and/or I will advise the Club Membership of it's price and availability.
  14. Hi Chad, No, it isn't; but looks very interesting. Can you post a link please ? Thanks
  15. Hi Chad, This should be in the Buy and Sell section, please.
  16. Have you considered a V6 ? Some owners find the 4 cylinder a little underpowered. I have a Gen 1, so cannot really advise on the Gen 2. Give it a day or so, I'm sure you'll get opinions from 2.4 owners.
  17. The Owners Manual is available on ebay for about 25 pounds. There is also a version that has a section on the Hybrid versions. The owners Manual is NOT a maintenance manual; but still should be in every owners possession. I have not seen the Service Schedule before, and should be an interesting read. I suspect it is a when, not how, publication. Perhaps, Chad, you can confirm this (or otherwise). If it is a proper maintenance manual it will be extremely popular.
  18. Hello Ken, I don't have the Theatre System fitted, but do have the same head unit as you. There are several controls to allow tinkering with the spatial balance etc. eigthseater.blog.com is very good site, in English, for your HDD system, but maybe less so for the theatre part. I hope you find it helpful.
  19. Hello frank, This seems to be quite a 'common' problem. There are several suggestions on this Forum. I suggest you search for sliding door. The search box is top rhs of your home page
  20. Hello, Welcome to the Forum. How do you quantify high mileage ? Or low mileage. Miles per year; but what are your definitions of high and low ? How many miles a year do you anticipate covering ? I would be looking for overall condition, undersealing is a must, on the newest car I could afford. The newer cars have more gears, and hence, tend to have better mileage; if that matters to you. Do you intend to buy in the UK, or import from abroad ?
  21. Hello Neil, Welcome to the Forum
  22. I love that colour display. I wish mine was as clear, colourful, and bright as that. Fantastic. Is it the original unit ? I ask because if not, I would suspect something has not been reconnected properly when it was replaced.
  23. Hello Ryan, Welcome to the best Forum for Alphardians.
  24. Hopefully, one of our Techstream owners will confirm, or otherwise, that the official Toyota software will be helpful.
  25. battery needs to be better than OK; it needs to be tip top in cold weather.
