  1. Hi Dan, IF that is the correct part number; have you tried Toyota Direct ? Or ask Picasso
  2. I respectfully suggest you get your battery tested. Without regular charging over winter the battery takes a beating. You should be OK if you drive some distance every day. Although inconvenient, you can disconnect the negative, or fit a 120 Amp (or more) switch on the negative side.
  3. Hello Barry, Welcome to the Forum.
  4. Hello Feysal, Welcome to the Forum.

Hello Rob, Welcome to the Forum. 10w 30 is fine, but 5w 30 is best for fuel economy. 4.5 litres, or 4.7 litres including oil filter.
  6. To emphasise Larry's point; the further you travel into the South West the more difficult it is to find LPG. I am struggling to remember, but (I think) BP and Shell (maybe it was Exxon) have already announced withdrawal from forecourt LPG. I, personally, would not want to rely on the smaller independents. However, users of LPG are not reporting any significant issues, and, effectively, the installations produce a dual fuel vehicle. If heading to Devon or Cornwall this summer plan your fuel stops.
  7. Hello Karen, Welcome to the Forum.
  8. Looks great. Welcome to the Forum
  9. It is not arranged yet. The organisers are looking for suitable suggestions. Search Alphard Club
  10. Some other brands call them mood lighting. As Dan says, it just provides a dull illumination
  11. Hi Dan, Welcome to the Forum. Welcome to Alphard ownership too
  12. I have sent you another PM. Please send me one so I can reply to it and test the facility
  13. The rail looks very much like the rail Dometic sells for windbreaks.
  14. Send Lee a personal message. Personal Messages are private. Click on the Picasso circle and then Message and send him your registration number. Lee has a system for finding part numbers for the exact vehicle. It's up to you, but I can vouch for Lee.
  15. Hello Adil, Welcome to the Forum
  16. Hello Rob, Welcome to the Forum
  17. I too use a dash mat, as I call it. Very effective. I also use the moisture absorbing crystals, but keep them well away from the fake wood trim (and the dog).
  18. Bit further than that. But they do have two locations, the 'showroom' and the conversion workshop. I was referring to the showroom, as, I think, visits to the workshop are by Invitation only.
  19. Good to hear you are happy with Riviera as they are a local (to me) conversion company. They often have a choice of several donor vehicles to choose from too. For anyone interested they are located on the main road between Paignton to Totnes.
  20. Don' t just look, get yourself a copy so you can mull over it at home. It will be big help in locating areas of bodywork that need attention, or may have been dealt with already. As a second step you could consider an AA/RAC Inspection. I paid 300 pounds and it brought a significant amount of reassurance. 2008 is a crossover year; end of Gen 1, beginning of Gen 2. The Gen it is will have an effect on value in the future. Good Luck
  21. I contacted Steve for you. Sorry for the delay, he gets very busy.
  22. Hello Kate, Welcome to the Forum. Thank you for the photographs. Looks great.
  23. Hello A, Welcome to the Forum. If you search the internet, you should be able to find information on how to understand the Japanese auction sheet. Do you have the auction sheet? If so you have made one of the most important first steps to ownership.
  24. Eightseater.blogspot.com has some info on the reversing camera and 'boxes'. However, I don't think he covers recovery of the boxes. Worth a read though
