Depends on your unit. I've got the HN3t-W55 and its only in Japanese and locked. Most of them is locked but you can replace with other units which run android/windows and run maps from app's instead. We've left ours in as taking it out caused a fatal error in the ECU and the car wouldn't start. putting it back and started right away. So all depends on your model. Ebay have a few disc's.

I would say the immobiliser chip lost power or its not close enough to the barrell of the ignition.

if you've got another head unit installed then be careful as sometimes they throw an error up on the ECU when removed.

Hi Everyone, I had a few bits for my raspberry Pi lying around so thought i would build my own dashcam. So after many days or reading and coding i've got a really smart dashcam. Records using HD input from a microsoft web cam. I will make a little how to and post below on how to make one. Total cost for me is £10 (the Clock cip + rear camera using pi camera v2) The mod's are easy to do and anyone with a little computer experience can do it.

Its the ECU, Sat nav disc and head unit computer.

Changing the belt is a doddle for the garage tell them its the same engine as the Lexus rs300 and they will know what to do. The struggle may be the bolts holding the water pump in as they can snap off easy.

That is the "Toll" card reader thing. Like the severn bridge you have a module which let's you pass thats the same for them. on a side note handy little card holder.

Oh very nice Wish we could change ours and delete the hdd but the model we have is pretty £$%% if im honest.

Yes underseal is a must. Then go for a full service. (and change your brake lines). The reason being is that in Japan it's very humid and they come over here and start to wear really quickly. Speak to Ben Alphard on the forum and he will get you sorted. Things to change replace once you get it. underseal brake lines (braided) Cam Belt water pump filters Oil + Plugs Rad Coolant I know it sounds alot but any garage can do it easily. If you've gone for a v6 its the same engine as a Lexus RS300. really really easy to work on (except the spark plugs at the back).

Dont reprogramme the key it will cost a fortune. Just get a new case and take the guts out.

1: Which head unit do you have? 2: If its the default head unit then no. you'll have to get an aftermarket headunit. Xtrons are great and pumpkin. 3: Buy a key from here: EBAY KEY then have it cut at a timpsons and change the guts over 4: It is a little high but what have you got inside? We paid £7k for the same mileage but it's got the standard interior etc on our v6. 5: There should be a catch on the sliding door to turn the child locks off. (inside between the main frame and door jam). 6: lane detection only starts working once you hit 50mph and above. (it's really really annoying). 7: These are standard button push mirrors, these models never had auto fold mirrors. 8: You can't as far as i know. The only way to is to remove the hard drive and wipe on a computer. 9: Maybe pending on your head unit. 10: Don't be sorry we were all the in the same place you were.

you can try ebay, but most of the time it wont work as they've locked the GPS unit to Japan.

I believe you have to buy a swivel plate as the rear has different mounting points.
