  1. There are only 2 fuses, 1 for the LH side and 1 for the RH side so as the fronts work it will not be a fuse. They might have removed the connector on the back of the switches on the doors, although I fail to see why they would want to deactivate the windows,
  2. I think that switch is for lights to illuminate the sliding door step
  3. A C rail can be fitted to any vehicle, there are a couple of possible places for it on an Alphard depending on the size of the rail, flat on to the roof or in the channel that has the black rubber seal in, problem with the straps is they can mark the paint work and they thrum in the wind, the magnetic strips are not very strong and will lift in windy weather, another method are suction limpets
  4. The head unit has a permanent 12v supply to keep the memory settings, the toll card reader is only live when the ignition is on, if a battery voltage goes below 11v the cells will get damaged and it will discharge quickly, a smart charger on Repair Mode might recover it if your lucky
  5. Yes they are standard fitment, most models had 16" but others had 17"
  6. Try white vinegar or warm solution of bicarbonate of soda
  7. It depends on what you want the new one to do, alot of people seem to be going for android units but I have seen on other forums that the cheap ones tend to go wrong. I fitted a Pioneer AVIC-Z620BT it does everything I need it to do, i.e. sat nav, bluetooth, mirroring, 2 camera inputs, only had to get a loom for the steering wheel controls and new cameras for the front & rear, the oem are 6volt.
  8. It will be one of the drain tubes for the rear sunroof it should connect to a part that is on the floor so that the rain drains out under the car, there will be another on the opposite side and you should see the exit point on the chassis. some one may have cut it to clear a blockage but not reconnected it properly, windscreen washer connectors will join it up. There are 2 similar tubes from the front corners of the front sunroof they run down behind the trims on the A pillars. The rear wiper washer tube runs from the pump up the front A pillar then behind the roof lining and then out into the tailgate at high level.

I use a Garmin DC56 on the front and a Garmin DC46 at the rear, they communicate via wi-fi, have voice control for taking a pic or recording a video, I wired them via a small switch fitted in the front dome light so that they can be switched on when in a public car park, footage has been used by the police for a red light jumper so good quality
  10. You need to go to a hybrid specialist such as the ones in the link, others are available if you do a google search, https://www.hybridrepairservice.co.uk
  11. Which bulbs, exterior or interior?
  12. If the Thule is the type that hangs on the tailgate then it will not fit due to the rear spoiler, the only ones that do fit are the ones for vw or merc and even those have to have the top bars modified to miss the spoiler, As for the awning that will depend on what you want to use it for e.g. sleeping in, sitting in, cooking, storage, how many people
  13. If you get a headlight restoration kit it has all you need to polish the lens and seal it against uv rays, if you do not seal them you will be polishing them again in 6months. I have used the Ceracote kit which might be available in Canada. I replaced the head unit with a Pioneer Avic-Z620BT, you can get adaptor looms to keep the steering wheel controls, the only other small problem is the front and rear cameras as they are 6volt but adaptors are available in 4pin or 24pin depending on what is behind the oem head unit but I replaced them with 12volt cameras. most of the connectors on the head unit just plug in. link for headlight kit >https://www.amazon.com/CERAKOTE-Ceramic-Headlight-Restoration-Kit/dp/B084RQKLV8
  14. Go to each door and lower the window all the way down and hold the switch for 2 secs then raise the window all the way up and hold switch for 2 secs, they will then work from the drivers door
  15. I think you where the one being presumptuous, I have a preface lift as well, a 2003 MS model and the seats do not have that handle at the front and the other levers are actually on the base of the seat, so yes there are variations
  16. Wrong, there is one lever to release the back so it can be folded forward which then allows the seat to swivel, the other larger lever on the side allows the seat to slide on the rail, there is no handle on the front of the seats in the middle row, the seat only locks into the rail when the back rest is up right
  17. No, when the back is folded forward it raises a pin that usually locks into the rail so that the seats can swivel round to face towards the rear, if the back is folded backwards the pin locks into the rail, you could get some door wedges and use them to prevent the seat from moving
  18. As already said, button to switch the front camera on /off is on the right hand side of the steering wheel
  19. As already said some vehicles only had the nearside powered door, a fog light switch has to be wired into a lighting power circuit not a powered door vircuit
  20. Other people have fitted the rail onto the roof so that when the poptop is down the rail is under the edge of the top, you may have to trim the flat part of the rail to miss the brackets of the poptop, the magnetic rails will not stay put when it gets windy
  21. Some time a go I saw a post about Techstream which is a full diagnostic/programming software but I do not have a link , there are obd tools/software that will work with Techstream see link, but I have not tried it, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/354015577366
  22. Awning rails commonly called a C rail are available on ebay/amazon in various lengths they are usually screwed and glued, using Sikaflex, to the roof near to the black in fill strip, to connect an awning you will need a kadar strip to join the two together. Any decent garage should be capable of servicing an Alphard the engines are used in various uk/eu models, the rest is just common sense mechanical know how, the problem with some garages is they can not be bothered to source the parts but you can all ways get the part numbers or the parts for them, oil/filters/plugs/belts/wipers/brake pads/discs/sensors are all available on ebay or Autodoc plus specialist suppliers, body parts are hard to get hold of
  23. Toyota dealers in uk have to pay for access to the diagnostic computer and they will not do that just for 1 Alphard, but if you buy a scanner that has the JOBD protocol it will read any fault codes, Ancel are very good as per > https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/295325433361
  24. Passenger side fuse box, No.14/10Amp labelled as Panel, switch illumination, air conditioner illumination. If the speedo lights are working then it is more than likely you have not fitted one of the connectors on the back of the headunit
